Double left click the jersey then right click and click save as. You know what to do after that, don't you ?

Huh? This doesn't make sense, i put it in the map as usual, with the usual name but.. it doesn't work.. See attach for what shows up when i try opening the image AFTER i opened and closed the game

Your shirt has the wrong size! You have to save it as a 556kb-tga! Just like the other maillots within the screen you've posted. Save the shirt with Paint.NET or something like this.. as a .tga, 32-bit and disabled 'Compression'.
