Greetings fellow PCM'ers,
I have a few(maybe asked) questions for you, hoped on getting an answer!
1. Is Career Mode ending? I believe I heard somewhere it never ends..
2. Is there anyy guide on Career Mode? I love the game but i'm far from good at it. Really bad, actually. I would like to seehow i can set my team up best.
3. Anyone with any general tips for me maybe on PCM? |

1. Don't know about this one but you can play for long.
2. https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=16325
3. Start on Easy level and with a good Pro Tour team to build up your confidence. Change level when it's to "easy", more than 100 victories one one season is a good sign to change level. However, don't feel forced to play on extreme or hard. Play on the lavel you find "funniest".

It's not easy to win Aussie Champs since your riders are in bad shape so early into the season. I've been playing PCM since 2005 and I've never won Aussie Champs

Hehe
Anyway, i guess i'll start up with Garmin Cervelo. It seems like a nice team, and they only care for sprints and some classics here and there, any tips for Ga-Ce? |

Try to make a nice lead out train for Farrar or Hushovd in one of the flat races.
I also think it is the ideal team to win some team time trails. |

PCM 2011 is my first game in this series and I also have a question about the career.
I started with a level 3 continental team with low expectations.
But after 2 months I am already broke because the salary of my team is higher than the sponsor income. I cant fire drivers becasue that cost money too.
Any tips for the first months? |

sack your staff if necessary. I think it costs nothing if you do it Jnaury 1st |

To save money:
- You can fire the staff at any moment without additional costs. (I never have a doctor for example)
To gain money:
- Try to find a co-sponsor (if possible)
- Always send a rider into the break away and go for the intermediate sprints
- Perform well in races
I read somewhere that you cannot go bankrupt, but I never tried.
In the worst case you could always edit it, if you really want to continue your career.

Greetings Lachi, creator of Lachi's famous editor!
Nice to see you around sometime! And yes, you can go bankrupt, i tried. You go bankrupt if at the start of a month u are in the red and are still at the end of the month!
about the staff, yes i noticed too you can freely fire them, but having no doctor could be alittle unwise, not?
About editing it, I shouldtry your editor perhaps?
EDIT: I saw i can ''scout'' sponsers. How long will it take a legendary scout to find a good deal?

In my eyes a doctor is useless because all he does is reduce the injury time of severe injuries and he can only heal one rider. Also it depends on his abilities and a cheaper doctor will help less. So I fire them even if I have enough money, because in case my best rider has a severe injury I could sign a doctor at that moment.
About editing: Use the editor you prefer or are used to. They all can do the work and it might be harder to find the correct table and column than to use the editor.
I think the scouting has been discussed in this forum already, so look there. |
