Hi.
I'm looking for a RealName DB while I wait for the PCMDaily one. Are there any databases that work with the latest patch? I was planing on downloading the PCMFrance V09 DB, but does it only work with patch 1.0.2.5? Or can I use it anyway?
PS: Don't bother mentioning getting it from the french forum because my french is worse then non-excisting. |

You can download any database and use it with any patch.

By the way; if you can use any DB with any patch, why do people reupload some DBs whenever there's a new patch released? Especially since they stress the fact that it's "now compatible with patch XXX"? |

This is done mainly because of an update to the database and not only because there is a new patch out... May i warn you that Custom Jerseys are not working for alot of people in career mode as the logo & jersey does not appear. It may work for you but for alot of people it isnt.

Because changes are made to the db in the patch that make the custom db incompatible. So its best to use a db thats combatible to the patch, so technically he's wrong when he says You can download any database and use it with any patch

Well, I will only be using an existing team untill the Daily DB is released. Just to get some experience before I'll start a more serious career. |

As noted, there's differences between the original DBs of each patch. These changes have to be added to the custom databases in order to be fully compatible. However, you won't experience a whole lot of trouble even if you use an "incompatible" database.
I haven't had proper internet since Saturday (and I still don't), but I might be able to upload the latest batch of databases tomorrow. |
