After i installed the 2.5 patch. some of my riders fall from the pack all the time. I was playing the tour de france on a flat stage, Flecha was in the break but then i looked at the peleton. Evans, Fuglsang, Farrar and Teejay was 7 mins behind the pack. In every stage some of my riders fell off the pack. Not because of puncture or crash they are just felling off. Everybody else experinced this problem?
It is really annoing. Evans lost the tour at that stage |

It's a bike race. You can't win it without using energy. |

The % which you put your riders on is the MAX they will use before they let themselves drop down from the group.
If you want to keep them in the peloton for as long as possible putting 99% is good. Your riders does not use more energy if you are riding on 99% compared to 50% as long as the rider is only using 40% of his performence. |

There is a similar thread in this forum yet. But generally speaking, do this to avoid problems:
- Position all your riders at the front of the peloton just after the start using individual effort or either of the relay options. (Just make sure that they do not ride in the wind)
- Set them back to "hold position" when they reached the desired position.
- Set the % around 60
If there are hills or climbs during the stage some of your riders might fall back a bit so check their position after the descent. Absolutely do this before the final climb or the important hills.
Final climbs:
- You can raise the % for all riders you do not want to lose too much time.
- You can lower the % of your sprinters so that they do not waste to much energy, just make sure that they finish in time)
- Put your best climbers/hilly riders on dot and control them manually. |
