The game is fun in places and has good potential but I think there needs to be a big change for me for it to work.
I love the 1:1 scale and also just riding certain sections of a race because it would be a bit much to expect up to around 200km per day to be mapped out graphically.
The big issue I have is having to stick with one rider. If I'm controlling a sprinter on a flat stage, the start of the race is totally pointless. Even if I make my way to the front of the peloton with my mates protecting me, when the next section starts I can be near the back again.
It's already been mentioned that we should be able to change between sections. I'd take it a step further and say we should be able to change at any time. So then, I can attack with someone, contest an Intermediate sprint, and then switch to a sprinter in the peleton to contest the rest of the sprint points. There'd be an interest in all parts of the race.
Haven't played enough to judge the intelligence of the AI, but I haven't had the breakway problems others have had so far.
Apart from that, I like it. The ends of stages are top class. |

TT is fun too but there is a fault, time counts after 4th rider not 5th, and your 5th and 6th rider, although they lost the other 4 get the same time in the cassification. Right now i have boom in atack, its change to sim now, 4 riders away boom and 3 frenchkis gap enlarge to 10min, gesink has white jersey |

well from their point of view is kinda realistic, controling 1 rider, ask track info from the team, so you dont exactly know how things go. I miss only a motor cycle who tells the time gap |

I mean if you can change riders during the race it would be already closer to the pc game, would also be fun, cause i could swap to boom right now. He is ahead. Actually the pc and console games are completly different. Also a different point of view. Its more fun then i first thought. Gap is closing only 2 min left, guess i have to sprint with freire |

Annoying thing i experience is that i often, as Leopard(i like to call it  ) i dont get to choose bennati in the end section.. i have to use fuglsang or cancellara or voigt.. And bennati looses all the points. Is there a way to make him sprint when i dont control him? or any chance i can help him? |

You can change rider during the race, when I won it with Euskaltel, I started on some stages by getting Ruben Perez into the break and then at the end of the stage looking after Samuel Sanchez.

You can also press 'Back' (on PS3 the circle button), than you get the decision over controlling another rider. So, keep pressing 'Back' till Bennati shows up...
