I´m Gerrman so I try my best to explain it in English if you didnt understand something just say it.
I have a Problem to play the Races Milano - San Remo and first Stage of Internationale fluently its more like a Diashow, and i would like to play such important races so first I thought maybe this Problem would be my Hardware is out of date. The other Races so far I played are fine.
Old System:
Windows 7 Ultimate 32bit
Motherboard: MSI K9A2 CF
CPU: Athlon 64 X2 4200+
Graphics: ATI RAdeon HD 3850 512MB
HDD: IDE Samsung 7200RPM
RAM: 4GB DDR2 A-Data Exxtreme 800Mhz CL 2
So i upgrated this to:
Windows 7 Enterprise 64bit
Motherboard: MSI K9A2 CF
CPU: Athlon II X3 440
Graphics: ATI Radeon HD 5670 1TB
HDD: Sata 2 WDC WD5000AKXX
RAM: 4GB A-Data Exxtreme 800+ CL 2
updated also drivers to 64 bit
in BIOS HDD is set to IDE
In the old system when i made overtake settings it sets to nearly full settings and 1024-1280 Resolution no AA.
With the new settings it sets to all Maximum even Resolution and no AA.
So I have tried to play these Races in diferent setups even on Minimum settings its still a Diashow like 3ffps.
So i looked at Ressource Monitor, RAM is still 1GB left, CPU works at 50%, HDD works with 10-100 kbs, on graphics i looked with
the Programm Afterburner. There was at normal speed nearly 100% and at 8x forward (inGame) the GPU goes to Zero. As far as I can say this isn´t up to
my Hardware. I tried a lot and spend money to get rid of this so I hope you can help me out.
Obviosly i set off a new Windows but surely have some programs installed like firefox, Office, Adobe, Nero, Nero smart and so on but didnt make any settings so Taskmenu shows only graphics card.
I´m not used to the new settings perfomance so far but I tried this stage and there nearly no freezes with it. Also river geometries is loading as in previous version very long.
