well seems the ai dont have that problem, they atck as idiots and still manage to atck/sprint full speed in last km.
Also when you just climb 80% effort and you dont atck the redbar dissapear as snow in the sun, while the whole climb you climb 80% the red drops steady

I didn't find that? Maybe its your pulse rate or condition of the rider thats having an impact. I find by micro adjusting it my rider was absolutely fine. With 9km to go I had full red and yellow on the highest Tour De France stage, attacked and won.
Would be worth running a few single stages to see different effects and tactics. I dont thin kits as straight forward as it used to be.
Stages ardiden, and alphuez, i play with gesinks rabo play on normal level. I tried to atck on 5km 9km, and just followed the leaders. I make an atck untill i have left 50% red then i lower effort to get the hb down, then maintain my normal % but higher then 80% seems deadly. Also i tried to escape on the mountain before, well didnt made that either, not with gesink. oor mollema..
when you attack a lot and youre rider goes into the red zone alot, their red bar drops almost instantly when going into the red zone. Its like when you attack a lot with a breakaway rider for the mountain points, after a while, when the speed goes up, he loses his red bar immediatly
