I wasn't going to get the game straight away but after reading all of the positives I decided to get it yesterday and I was playing it just 5 hours after making the decision. That's what you call spontaneous! Anyway, the game is great, the sprinting is now really good. Organised chaos is the best way of putting it.
However, one small thing, is the custom team thing now too easy? My team has got Cancellara, Wiggins, LL Sanchez, Arroyo, Roche, Swift, Kittel, Terpstra, Froome, Millar and quite a few others. I'm already top of all of the rankings despite not really being used to the game yet. I just think that's too strong a team for the continental tour. In last year's version you could only really afford 2 top class riders. Seems weird.

Then limit yourself, no fun in making best team. You don't have to spend all your money

Yes, fair enough, I suppose but I wanted a team that could challenge in grand tours but I didn't expect to still be able to afford 3 sprinters and cancellara. Plus some of the stats are a joke. Kennaugh MO 63??!!

Well I think the money available for a custom team shouldn't really matter. If I ever made a custom team, I would want to pick the riders I want to make a team that is "realistic" in some sense, I wouldn't want to pick all the best riders even if I would have the money. So in a way you can blame yourself for picking too strong a team .
At the same time though there are new teams forming at times (like Leopard - Trek this year) which have strong riders right from the start so it should be made possible imo that the player can choose a pretty strong team as well.

I know, I just couldn't help it, I was weak
True though, not many teams start from scratch with no money these days. Oh well, I proved myself wrong. Looking forward to some big races though with this team

Typical Cyanide, eh ?
Most of Sky stats are joke, but I am not going to move this topic further
Just be realistic with the spend of money and set your goals before picking riders, to maybe help you create the team, that is relastic,
