Giro delle Etna.

3 days of hard climbing in sicily on the flanks of the volcano Etna.


Stage 1: Acrireale - Zafferana Etnea 130km
Mostly flat or light climbing till the very hard Etna climb from the north side. The line is drawed at the end of the descent.

Stage 2: Catania - Rifugio Sapienza.
Very hard stage equal to the Blockhaus stage at the Giro 2009.

Stage 3: Casa Tomarchi - Torre del Filosofo
A mountain TT going to Rifugio Sapienza ( that's the easy part) before going very steep uphill for 10 km at 10%! to reach Torre del Filosofo.
