Well, it´s started!
Jordan Henderson to Liverpool from Sunderland for almost £20 , honestly I have not seen him play, has not had the right channel for the Premier League before back in early May. But I trust Kenny and hopes he is good for those millions.
Gael Clichy to Liverpool? Hope not.
Rumors about Nasri to Man Utd?
Phil Jones somewhere about £16 and Ashley Young read somewhere about £15 to Man Utd.
Someone who can provide a good English site which is updated around rumors? |

Have to say that to spend nearly £20 you have to be a good player or atleast have some talent there. I find it weird, but maybe those who have seen alot of the Premier League or Sunderland can tell some more of him and what his qualities are? |

He's English. Hence the hugely inflated price

Carroll was a last minute option, and was hugely overkill, this one is in the starting phase, thus shouldn't be panic.
I hope he will be good. He has been this year, of what I've seen... I do agree though that british players tend to be overpriced, but I like the fact that Liverpool is getting the team back towards looking british again.

When I think of Henderson, what sticks in my mind is a cross he produced once for Gyan early on in the season just gone. Absolutely inch-perfect and perfectly executed. His passing is very good and though Sunderland starting playing him in the centre, he's great on the wing too and very comfortable on the ball. The fact he played nearly every match for Sunderland last season, despite his age, says a lot.
That said, 20 million is too much and another risk given the stage he is at, but he has all the makings of a great player in my opinion. Ever since the beginning of last season he's looked like a very bright young talent - it's just a question of whether he can fulfill the potential he's shown. |

And as coach signing go, I really hope Villa signs David Moyes. Would make my day Owen Coyle wouldn't be bad either.
Villa is reportedly buying him off Everton for 4-6£ million and will give him 35£ to 'play' with in the transfer window.

That won't buy him much. Robbie Fowler, maybe?

Well someone suggested Alex McLeish before
Please No Benitez at Villa. I beg. I really hope we will keep Downing though. Barry - Milner - Young - Downing ? |

No no no! No way! Davey must stay in Goodison!
Anyway, why he should go to Villa? He would have 35 million to spend in his first transfer window, but then? He would have nothing once again like he is having in Everton and he should sell once again to buy some players.. He will be 10 years in Everton really soon and I don't really think that he should go anywhere than really big clubs.

Disagreed. Villa is in Top 20 richest clubs in world. Look at Bent signing, came of out nowehere. Villa can give him more money to spend than Everton can any time and much bigger pay, and that's what most managers/players go for. 35£ million in summer and then see how the squad works together and another injection of money in January. |

No, that's not true. Or why O'Neill resigned one year ago? Villa could buy Bent only because they borrow some money to buy him. They have massive debts, much bigger than Everton. Everton has debts but Everton never buys players to go to bigger debts. That's the difference. Both clubs are sell to buy clubs.
And these 35 million are money from Ashley Young and Stewart Downing.

Any sources when they have massive debts ? Most of clubs have debts, but Villa hasn't massive debts. I agree that O'Neill left due to Milner and likes of Barry being sold, but Villa managment is chaning itself now though
And now those 35£ million are not from Ashley Young and Stewart Downing sells and Lerner ( AV chief executive ) confirmed it too. Downing won't go though, I feel he will stay for another year and see how Villa will progress. |

110 mil. - that's quite high.
Anyway, I don't believe Downing will stay, I think he will go to RS. And once again, I don't believe Moyes will go from Everton to Villa. Yeah, he will go one day, but to the team like Villa, which is at most on the same level like Everton. I don't believe these speculations. I think Hughes will go to Villa.

That debt was mostly cleared on January when Lerner when houlier came injected a lot of money, the debt I believe is about 35-45£ million. And some of those accounts are completly way off. United debt is now 880,000£ not 590,900.
Liverpool debt is joke. It's 360,000 million now, not 123,000. United has biggest debt in the league and Liverpool is second. Chelsea doesn't have the biggest debt like according to the spreasheet. Arsenal debt is also very, very small Their debt on speeasheet is wrong.
Everton is a great club. But why I see Moyes go to Villa is becasue of much higher pay he will get there. Doesn't mean he will move there. I would like it You probably wouldn't. One thing we have in common - he is great manager and we both agree

Ok, I don't know too much about debts in Premier League clubs, so you are more likely right. But still, I think Villa is sell to buy club, like Everton. You can say all clubs are sell to buy, but I think you really get what I mean.
I think Moyes has good wage in Everton, so I don't think he will get much higher in Villa. And he spent some good years in Everton so I really don't think he would go there. He would go only to Man Utd, Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal and maybe Tottenham. Maybe I am wrong, but I really don't see this move as possible.
But yeah, if he really goes, then Villa fans like you will be most probably all really happy. I love Everton, I really, really like Davey Moyes and it definetly will be the new era of this club when he goes away. There are only maybe 2 or 3 managers who I'd like to see here now instead of him. Owen Coyle, Ian Holloway, or maybe Duncan Ferguson. But still, I believe Moyes will stay here.

Juan Mata getting closer to Liverpool according to sportsnews, don´t have a clue if they are trust worthy. Costs about £20.
He´s still young to, would be a great signing I think.
And a short rumor ; Drogba to AC Milan. That would be a strong powerful strikerduo wiht Drogba and Ibrahimovic. But doubt it will happen.

I just think that it is pretty funny that Juan Mata would cost about the same money as Henderson. |
