I'm managing IK Start in Norway. The league is Tippeligaen. Only my team is controlled by humans.

To those who played more than one season. It might sound stupid though
After finishing a season with your club are you able to stay at the club for next season with new goals as well ? Or you have to pick diffrent league ?
I am asking becasue I am have transfer problem. I had choice between:
- Angel Di Maria ( 23 ) Att - 91 £ 31.423.150
and
- Lisandro ( 28 ) ATT - 93 £ 25.740.837
If I can only stay for one season in my club I would probably take Lisandro becasue he is already better and cheaper. Though I would prefer Di Maria becasue he will develop into better player, though he is dearer. But I wouldn't buy him if I couldn't stay at my club for another season and develop him.
So can I stay ? Also which player would you buy ?

I have played more than one season, and as far as I can see, it depends on the league. I have never tried staying with the same team two seasons in a row, though.
PS: Go for Di Maria, he's trainable.

And following the advice Everton presents the biggest signing ever in the club history - Di Maria
I am very happy too with the progress of Rodwell, Gueye and Coleman. Rodwell has 87 now, and Guye and Coleman both 86 so far. I am in week 13 so far.
I am 3rd in the Premier League, Liverpool is 1st with with all matches won except one draw ( with Everton ), second is Arsenal and we are one point behind. Next are two teams close to us and then a big gap. Looking good for my 7th Postion Goal.

Having four manager (premium ticket holder), I do pretty good with most of them.
Main manager - IK Start. Goal top 10, think I'm in top 5 at the moment.
Sub numbah 1 - Blackpool. Avoid relegation. Easy, as I am usually in or around top 10.
Sub number 2 - Sevilla. Doing pretty good. Goal 4th, currently at fifth.
Sub number 3 - Rosenborg. Well. Goal was win the league, and I lead it, so good there too.
@Alakagom: Put Di Maria on the bench for the first few matches. He can easily pass 100 in the ATK-stat. (I think Messi is at 106 in the stats.)

Continuing as Everton manager the success is coming very nicely.
2nd in the league with 4 points advantage to the 3rd Arsenal.
And here's my squad with preety pathetic cirlces for most improved players, what do you think ? What to change ?

Get a young GK, and prop him full of dope! Then you can have a young superstar in goal and ditch Howard when the youngster is good enough.

My squad developed a lot now. Guye increased to 98 in attack, very happy about that. Azpilicueta and Rodwell increased to 95 as well. My whole squad is in 90's now, which I am pleased.
And being 2nd, I have created 6 point gap to the 3rd with few matches left.
Also started as Arsenal. Bought so far Xavi and Maicon, and again Di Maria. Looking for young keeper and the squad is set. Top of league so far as well, though United is joint 1st.

Finished the previous season with IK Start at 10th place. Moved my league from Norway to England, and I am now managing Manchester United. I am planning to run this English league for some seasons. So if you want, check out "Tippeligaen".

I have ended the season 2nd with Everton. Happy with that Ending with this newspaper headline.
Alakagon takes Everton to new heights
LIVERPOOL - Everton performed admirably during the league, ending in position 2 in the rankings as a result. Alakagon can look back to this past season with satisfaction. His team making it that far was above the goal set by the board (position 7). Not surprisingly, it was a party in the stands after their last home match had been played.
Will Alakagon become manager of the year as a result of his accomplishment? That remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: a great amount of teams looking for a new manager will want him on board now, which may just pique his interest. "I'm good here for a while still", he said to reassure the fans.

Just a short question. How to hire staff? I just get the page where I see them and by clicking I get an info. But there is no hire / sack button...
Edit: Never mind. Too early in the season for them obviously.

You hire staff by going in the staff page, click the staff role you are thinking on. Then you should click the hire button. It appears above the list of the different staff types. Three buttons for me. Visit, hire and sack.

Thanks for the response. But German league hasn`t started yet and it says something that I can`t sign him before the season started or something like this. |

With 2 played games (2 wins) I expected to be able to hire staff. But still not possible.
This is what I see. Maybe I am blind and someone can point me to the hire button.
