Second season suckyness?
MrDemus
Again I have been promoted to the WT, and yeat again I experience the same problems. My riders seem to be worse than last year.

Season 1: I could go in 95% of all breakaways, and actually win some races (won the CT).

Season 2: My riders can't follow the breaks, no matter who is in it. I can't win any races, even with good riders.

Is it something I am imagining, or does a team get worse in the second season?

and what does the fitness of your riders say?
WT-races are a lot harder (difficulty) and have a lot better riders in them
prevent hangovers --> stay drunk
pozzato, basically the most stupid cyclist around

RIP WW. Gone but not forgotten

I'm managing Andalucia. We are now in our second season as a WT team, having spent our first two seasons in the lower ranks.

The biggest difference for me was in terms of the quality of the opposition. More WT races means your racing against better riders.

I still manage to get riders into breaks, although sometimes only on the second or third attempt, but that's normal.

And I still manage to get some good wins, and managed to get my first Classic in the third season, the Giro di Lombardia. Careful fitness planning is important, so that your key riders reach peak fitness for the races you are targeting and so that you can remain competitive throughout the season. Make sure you have enough riders, and don't be afraid to cancel race registrations if necessary to avoid over-racing your riders.

I've improved my squad every year and now have some real quality, even if my best riders can't match the attributes of Contador, Sagan and others. And a GT win still remains elusive!

I know they're harder, but I rode them last year as well with many of the same riders, and I never use riders with bad form. That's what is puzzling me.
