Bug: sign free agent at beginning of first season

Amateur Posts: 1 Joined: 21-05-2011 PCM$: 200.00	Hi guys, I have started playing this version again. This is the downloaded version (from Cyanide website), I installed it and then the patch hw- 1.0.3.1 (which is the last one for the downloaded version I believe). My issue is that I cannot sign free agents cyclist at the beginning of the 1st season, such as 19-year-old Boasson hagen. On the 1st of January 2007, when I click on a free agent, the screen just have at the bottom "pre-contact", "contact" and "add to the list". (sorry I am translating so I am not sure these are the exact words on the screen). When I click on "contact" it says "You can only contact cyclists after July". Basically, the game is reacting as if the free agent already had a team. Funny enough, when I play using asmod's DB 2010, this functionality works fine. I can sign free-agents. But I would like to play with the 2007 original db. Anyone seen this issue before? and knows how to solve it ? I tried uninstalling and then re-installing already thks

Tour de France Champion Posts: 29989 Joined: 20-10-2006 PCM$: 200.00	Try opening the database file with with Full Editor V4 / Advanced Editor V4, then find GAM_config. If there's more than 1 line in that table, delete them, so only the top one is left.
