I am in the Giro and was playing the 15th stage up Monte Grappa. My leader had a lead of 2:48 to Basso in second. After getting a pretty good lead up Monte Grappa with my leader, I start the downhill. At this moment I have a 7 minute lead on the pack containing the entire top 10 (exept for my guy). I'm as good as finished with the stage and I've more or less more the Giro since I will have had a 10 minute lead on nr. 2.
Then, when I only have 2km left, the game crashes! Therefor, I'm wondering if there's anyway for me to edit the result without playing the stage? It's either that or replaying the stage over and over again untill I get the same winning margin as I should have gotten, had the game not crashed.
PS: If anyone here thinks that this sounds like cheating, I can't see how it is.

Lower your graphics and go on easy. I'm guessing its very difficult to edit your savegame to alter a result and change the winning margins.
This has nothing to do with graphics. The game crashes about every 5th stage, regardless of how good the graphics are.
I suppose all I can do is switch to easy and just replay it untill I get the right result. Who exactly made this game; a couple of monkeys hammering away at a computer?

It does have something to do with graphics. If all the settings were at 0, the game would use less RAM, meaning less crashes.
To answer your question, you can edit the race classification in DYN_classification_race.
