I have some questions for the cycling manager 2010 - especially about the racing days and the evolution of the riders. Please excuse me for my english, its not the best one .
How much racing days are good for the riders? I ve heard that the maximum fitness will be ok till 60 racing days. Thats ok for me. But whats about the talent of the young riders, for example between 17-18 and 22? Is it ok, to give them 60 racing days too? I ve read in the handbook, that their potential will drop down, when they have too much racing days. But what's the limit? 60 or lower? I remember an older version of the cycling manager where the limit was about 40 racing days per season. And in this context: Does it plays a major role, which role the driver have, for example a domestique or a young talent?
And is their an age limit for the cyclists, till they could loose potential, when i give them too many racing days?
And do older riders loose their maximum fitness later (with more racing days) then younger riders?
Do you have some tipps for boosting the evolution of the young guys? Is it better for them to take part at the smaller races (1.1, 1.2., 2.1 and 2.2) or is it good for them to start in HC-races or even in the pro tour too? And on the other hand: Do better cyclists like Martin or van Garderen need HC and PT-races to increase their skills or is it the same for them, when they win a smaller race?
Another question is about the moral of the racers: I ve grounded a new team with the captains Klöden, Martin and Ciolek and mostly german young riders. All of them want to start in races, that i can't participate because i don't get a wildcard for starting in the pro-tour-races. Is that a big problem for the moral of these guys?
Last but not least:
My aim is to qualify for next years pro tour. Do anyone have a list with the cq-points i could earn for placing in races from the different categories, so i know with races are the best one for me, to earn as much points as possible?
I am very very happy, if someone could help me! Thank you very much!
The age doesn`t matter at all. All riders will have 60 race days with maximum fitness, then it will be lowered from day to day.
The evolution is also not influenced. Every 2-4 months, the rider will have an evolution day. This one is different from rider to rider. Then he will gain some stats and then he will have the next evolution day 2-4 months later until he can`t improve any longer as defined in the save game.
Moral doesn`t matter at all in my opinion.
BTW: I also answered your post on the German forum, probably a bit better to understand and a bit more explained.
Thanks a lot for these informations in both languages! It s great to know, that all the riders can go 60 days and more without loosing their talents or power for the next year.
About the evolution:
Is there a posibility to see it, when a rider has reached the end of his improvement? Do the riders reach that point when there is no more star there for the skills?
About the talents:
Are riders with more improvements in one year more talented than riders with only one or two improvements per year or is it various about more years in that kind, that a rider with 5 improvements in season 1 could only have 1 or 2 improvements in season 2 while another guy with only 2 or 3 improvements in season 1 could have 5 improvements in the next year?
About CQ-ranking: Is there a list with the cq-points you can earn in the races of PT and CT so I can see whats the best way to qualify for next years Pro Tour?
