Following the Mantova inquiry, RCS has decided to put pressure on the teams to exclude every single cyclist that are mentioned in the interceptions form the upcoming Giro. This led to the exclusion for example of Ballan, Santabrogio and Bruseghin by the respective teams.
Considering the presence of Contador, what do you think of the behavior of RCS sport?
I think it shows how inconsistent they are. Either they should have let Ballan, Santambrogio and Brushegin go which i think they should do or they have to stop Contador from competing.

Not that I want to see Contador riding, but he has been cleared by his national federation.

Ballan, Cunego and the rest haven't been found guilty of anything either. If anything, Contador is in a worse position, as he has been charged, while the Mantova guys haven't as of yet.

a) Contador was charged and "cleared", despite how corrupt the ruling was;
b) The Mantova investigation is coming to a head. Not only has evidence recently come out about just how guilty some of them are, but the prosecutions would start mid-Giro. Which would be terrible for RCS. Contador will be prosecuted pre-Tour, post-Giro.
I'm not defending RCS Sport, I'm just pointing out why these cases are different

Yes. That's the hypocrisy I'm talking about. They can't ride, because they could be charged in the middle of my race, hurting my image. He, however, can ride, as he will be prosecuted after my race, so it kinda doesn't affect me.

But it will kinda affect their race a lot when the most probable winner will have all achievments removed in June (and i hope he will)...

Not as much as if he's supended/arrested during the Giro. And Contador racing means a bigger audience, specially from Spain.
