i think evans shud be rated 82 mountains with basso and menchov and people (sanchez, menchov) should be 81 and contador and andy should be 83 mountains. Because when i join games evans sucks!!!!
to sum up:
. Evans: 82
. Contador: 83
. Andy schleck: 83
. Basso: 82
. Menchov: 80
. Samuel Sanchez: 81
And to help u decide think about evans in tour de romandie and in giro 2010 he actually gained 3 mins on basso ang had injury in tour de france and puncture in vuelta 2009
a better idea have specific mountains stats: for e.g evans 81 steep climbs but 82 on a semi steep but long

This thread is unnecessary...
You can just go into the db editor and change his stats... Im perfectly fine with the stats given to most of the riders but i change the stats i dont like as nobody is perfect. Thats the fault of nationalism. You cant be 100% fair

Never said that you were...
Im Luxemburgian but living in Ireland but that doesnt change my point. All i say is that no DB will be perfect. You will always have disagreement between fans.
The best example is the excya db. But they even claim that they overrated the french.
If you are not d'accord with the stats, just change them. Dont start a new topic...

He was 79 in the last expansion pack... Dont know how he is rated in the 2011 db as im using the fcm11 db, where everyones stats are pretty low (with a few exceptions).
But that gives pretty realistic results i have to say...

Yes, won romandie with nobody of the great climbers as a rivals (purito, contador, andy, samu sanchez, etc) and there was only one climb stage, so...evans, with 79 mountain stats is enough. Contador and Andy with 83 are so far that others climbers and i like that. |

One thing you and most people seem to forget is that all the stats are based on the 2010 season, not the 2011. Wait for PCM daily for PCM 2011 and then complain if you do not like it. The stats are fine atm as they are.
And if you say Tour of Romandie, I say Tour de France 2010, where Evans came in 45 minutes down on Andy and Contador on the king stage. Based on that he should have 55 in mountains. See what I did there? Basing stats on just 1 race in the season where people are not in shape is not smart. |

I must agree Pellizotti that this thread is quite useless.
Especially your last post is very subjective. You want him to have 81. So that`s your opinion and I will respect this one.
Canojuancho wants him to have 79, this is his opinion and so you can`t say "NO" to him.
Stats are always very subjective of course but luckily everybody can have his own opinion and changing the stats in the editor.
So please respect his opinion even if you have another one. |

Would someone please just close this thread? Everybody is subjective when it comes to certain riders. I would still like to believe that Hushovd can outsprint Cav on a good day, but I know it wouldn't happen. |
