I'm currently in my second season and racing in the Vuelta. I have a created rider (Kirchen look-alike) who is in the lead after 12 stages. I was wondering if I can judge the form of the AI riders by looking at the amount of race days they currently have? I of course look at how the opponents respond to attacks etc. during the race too.
So far the standing is this:
1. My rider Race days: 53
2. S. Sanchez +1.31 Race days: 78
3. K. Kirchen + 5.23 Race days 62
4. F. Schleck + 5.32 Race days 59
5. J. Rodriguez + 7.51 Race days: who cares?
As you can see my rider has alot fewer days under his belt then Sanchez has. I have heard that when your rider exceeds a certain amount of days his form will drop drasticly and I'm wondering if this is true for AI riders aswell? If it is, then shouldn't Sanchez see a quite noticeable drop when we are nearing the end?
As far as I know it is valid for all riders. With 78 race days his form should already quite low but I forgot how low it is. It is written somewhere in this forum.
Kirchen and Schleck should not have a problem.
Thanks alot. It seems like Sanchez is on a slippery slope, atleast he should be. Kirchen and Schleck are a little bit to far behind to be a great threat I think.
The three GTs are a living hell due to A. Schleck, Contador and Sanchez.
Speak of the devil! I just finished playing the 13th stage of the 2011 Vuelta. Sanchez had a huge lead throughout the entire stage, but was caught by a group of 20+/- riders at the foot of Cotobello.
He completely cracked and ended up 5:56 behind the winner.
The Vuelta seems relatively secure with F. Schleck in 2nd 5:53 behind my guy. And he hasn't peaked completely yet, still one or two days to go.
One of the reasons is that many DBs, PCM.daily's included, comes with extra races and stages. When doing this, it's a good idea to change the fitness/fatigue systems - this wasn't done in the PCM.daily DBs, don't know about other DBs, though.
