Hey!
I have a problem that the games crashes very often. My PC should be more than enough for the requirements and very stable for any other games exept PCM.
i use 1.0.4.1 patch and the 2011 database from here.
If i set the graphics to high (which my PC should handle easily) the game cant run, after a stage the game often crash, even in the menu i have some CTD.
Can anyone help me pls? |

PCM crashes after reaching 1,8gb RAM, no matter how good your computer is.
So you will have to lower the graphics. Try to deactivate anti aliasing and lower the city textures is often enough.
Otherwise you might have to decrease the shadows. These are one of the biggest parts in PCM, but therefore looking great. |

If equipment doesn't mean anything to you, you can also use the No Equipment DB. This will reduce the RAM usage by a lot. |

I am using the no-equipment mod and most of the graphics settings at low.
I just dont understand this that in the vids the game looks so awesome but i have to keep everything at minimum and this way it looks like PCM 2008 or 2009, so i dont know why i bought 2010 :\
But with minimum settings there are a lot of crash, very disappointing :'( |

If your computer does not comply with the recommended system requirements as noted on the back of the game, then I wonder also, why you did buy the game.
So what are your computer specs?

Intel Core Duo 2,2 GHz
GeForce 9600 GT (512MB)
4 GB Corsair Ram
Thats not enough for run atleast on medium this game? I changed everything to minimum, game is ugly as hell and still a lot of CTD. |

Your computer should play the game fine, so it must be something else. Did you read this yet: https://www.cyanid...amp;t=3191 |

Those specifications are very much like mine, and it runs fine here (medium settings with equipment, no CTDs).
Did you try running the game in windowed mode? |
