I don't know if this has been mentioned before, but I was wondering if there was a way to prevent the generated riders to replace old riders. I guess it's the ID or something but I haven't really looked into it. What happens though is that in the previous results from way back like 2007 and 2008, newly generated riders in my save are replacing riders who I assume retired. So instead of the actual winner it would say some randomly generated riders name there. Also when you look at some new riders "profile" it would say like 2014 - Saxo Bank for example, and then nothing and then suddenly 2009 - Cofidis with the results of some other rider he replaced.
I know it's pretty much impossible to fix it on an already created save game but is there any way to prevent this from happening before creating another save.
The game can only generate new and unused IDs and retired riders will not be removed from the DB as far as I know.
So I guess there are errors in the DB, having wrong links to unused IDs.
Wait so that means they're replacing riders that have already retired before 2011? Well that could make more sense, it happened with the PCM Daily DB though, but I guess it won't be too much of a problem if it doesn't actually start messing up results from the newer seasons too. But is it possible to switch out the generated riders ID with another one and then fix the retired riders in a save game or would that only create more problems?
The new riders are supposed to be completely new. No retired riders. No retired rider before 2011 as the game wouldn`T even know them.
Thee are tables in the DB with a list of possible names for young riders for every country. So of course it`s possible to have a new Spaniard named Egoi Contador for example. But that these riders also have former results this must be a bug/error in your save I think as this isn`t supposed to be.

It can happen in the PCM.daily DB. During test sessions I'm getting rid of as many as possible, but there may still be riders left.
You can fix the issue yourself if you want to. DYN_rider_palmares -> find your rider and give him a unique ID. In DYN_palmares, find the old ID and replace it with the new one. Obviously, you have to make sure that you do not change the ID of the old rider's result.
I think it's very weird if this is only a problem with my career. I mean, I didn't mess with anything before I started my save so it's weird if some tables in the database all of a sudden would change on it's own.
As I wrote all that before I saw CrueTrue's response here is my last question:
If one of these riders already have results as a pro, is it hard to edit these back to the correct rider or is all you have to do to find some sort of result in the save game? I haven't really been digging around in the result table but as soon as I did it was slightly confusing.
If you wanted to I could provide a full list of the riders that have been replaced in my save, but if the last version of PCM daily's PCM 2010 DB has been released, which I assume it is, then it isn't be necessary.
