We're proud to announce a brand new cycling team. The Koppert Cycling Team! A team primairily sponsored by Koppert Biological Systems and co-sponsored by NRC Next and Rabobank.
Koppert is the international market leader in the field of biological crop protection and natural pollination. Koppert has a reputation internationally for reliability, innovation and quality.
The team is based in the Netherlands. Since Koppert is a large multinational they are located all over the world. That's why our team will focus on contracting riders from all over the world.

News - Focus reveals new team bikes
Earlier this month the Koppert Cycling Team announced that Focus had stepped forward to supply bikes for the new squad, and this week the first photos of the actual team bikes have been released.
Focus will outfit the team with the top-end Izalco's, full carbon framesets specced with SRAM RED groupset, Bontrager wheels and 3T components.

News - The 2012 helmets are revealed
Giro and Bontrager have revealed the Koppert 2012 helmets. Since Bontrager only produces normal road helmets Giro will supply our team with their brilliant new time trial helmets. The Giro helmet has an integrated (but removable) sunglass/shield so the riders can choose what's best.

News - Koppert signs first riders
Today we present you our first new riders. We've already managed to sign eight riders in the first week of the transfer period. Dutchman Hans Dekkers was the first to sign his contract. Dekkers has moved from Jack Wolfskin for the amount of €100.000.
We also signed seven free agents. Six of them are Dutch and one, Jay Thomson, is from South Africa. The six Dutchmans are Rick Flens, Lieuwe Westra, Ronan Van Zandbeek, Jan Hopman, Sebastian Langeveld and Tom Stamsnijder.
We hope to announce more riders in a few days.

News - Koppert signs another six riders
After signing our first eight rider we present you another six new riders. Remco te Brake €50.000 is transferred from Volkswagen-Siemens.
Bobbie Traksel, Jan Dieteren, Tom Jelte Slagter, Pim Ligthart and Oscar Freire also signed their contracts. They were all free agents.
We still hope to sign a good climber this week but it will be hard to find one.

News - Koppert signs final 11 riders
Wim Stroetinga, Jaco Venter, Coen Vermeltfoort, Floris Goesinnen and Peter Möhlmann are the last free agents signed by Koppert Cycling Team.
We also loaned two riders: Arman Kamyshev (Spyker Cars) and Panagiotis Vlatos (Festina).
Fabien Taillefour and Tom Veelers are both transferred from the ProTour. Veelers is transferred from Team B&O for an amount of €150.000 and Taillefour is transferred for €150.000 from Spyker Cars. Veelers will be our leader in the cobbled races.
Arnie Reuvers and Jasper Ockeloen will join the team in August as a stagiaire.

News - Veelers takes Koppert's first win ever
The new Koppert Cycling Team got its first ever victory last week at Dwars Door Vlaanderen. The team has been threatening for some time now, but today the threatenings came to an end. Tom Veelers, who also did a very nice job by becoming sixth in Gent - Wevelgem, was unbeatable. Veelers's sixth place was followed by the elusive first win.
