Team Trilux - Falke

Team Presentation

img10.imageshack.us/img10/6879/triluxfalke.jpg

We´re happy to annouce a new German cycling team, the

Team Trilux - Falke

After sponsoring car racing last year, Trilux wanted to sponsor real racing and therefore asked felix_29 to create a new cycling team. Soon a co-sponsor was found: Falke wants to expand in the cycling-sector and what gives you more news than being a co-sponsor of a cycling-team?

Both sponsors want to increase their popularity in Germany and therefore, the focus will be on German races and riders.

Of course there some more sponsors behind this project:
Cube will supply the team with bikes, SRAM with groupsets. The famous German wheel-manufacturer Lightweight sponsors the team with their Obermayer wheels. As Falke is active in the textile industry, they will not only be co-sponsor but also clothing sponsor.
With such top-eqipment the excuse "my bike is to bad" won´t count.

And here is our jersey for the season. Designed by ANFreeman, we will have one of the nicest jerseys in 2012.

Could not be happier with the outcome of that jersey. I hope you take it to some great wins in the season to come!

Thats an amazing shirt.
Custom MC Hammer pants for your team to ride in? They wouldn't be very aerodynamic, but they'd go well with the disco ball jerseys.

The jersey looks really good. Well done, ANFreeman.

If you talk about the pants i think about: the team first wanted to do so but they weren´t aerodynamic enoughPfft (didn´t read your edit)
But these pants look much better, though

Today, a Trilux rider was spotted while training but he couldn´t be indentified.

img20.imageshack.us/img20/5615/tripress1.jpg

In other news, team manager felix_29 spoke about riders he´d like to sign for the team´s first season:
"Marcel Sieberg is one of the main targets. He´s one of the few riders who have a relation to the region our sponsors come from and both want him to ride in their jersey next year."
He also mentioned other riders who are on his list:
"Riders like Roger Kluge, Jacob Fiedler, Fabian Wegmann and Andre Greipel are interesting. The problem is that many good German riders will have a contract for 2012. With our small budget and so many German teams around it will be a hard battle during the transfer period."

I know exactly what you mean. Quite sure we will have some nice "fights" for some of these riders and not just the two of us. Wink

BTW: I am wondering, who is this anonymous rider of a team without any riders

Nice equipment pack. Everything suits to each other.

The full set looks fantastic in game, and your's and Boogie's equipment are absolutely brilliant. Looking forward to seeing that kit on the podium in the season!

However, with the amount of new german-based teams (3 or 4, i think) there's gonna be a LOT of competition for the top german riders. So, best of luck!

Maybe the team manager himself.

Some nice battles, but might be a good idea to make some agreements between us (the german teams)

Sieberg is prolly a smart target, A rider I belive that Jack Wolfskin could make go. But there are a lot of interesting german riders around (Greipel from Bbox, Kluge and Mohs from Pokerstars (though I heard he wont let them go), Wegmann and Kessler ++ on free agents, Ciolek in the Lego squad, and a lot of riders I bet I forgot now.

To be honest I decided to go German becuse I felt that was a market with potential (and I got a few Austrian and German riders from before), then suddenly we got a lot of german teams :-p

SportingNonsense
If there were two German teams, and 2 much-wanted talents, it might be possible to make some sort of an agreement to only bid on one of them. But with as many German teams as there are, I dont think thats really going to be possible.

Btw: Very nice kit felix!

Heine, Sieberg ain't going nowhere. And if it is I'd want nice amount a money for him since he's one of the best lead - out riders in the game as well as nice cobbled domestique.

The latest news said that the managers of Team Trilux - Falke had talks with Markus Eichler. It´s still unknown if he will have a contract for the next season, so there are no offical statements of any team yet.

As Ted DiBiase would say: Everyone has a price.

I don't have Eichler, I had him 2010 but transfered him after my first season to Waghlon

Team News

Team Trilux Falke now has officaly announced their goals for the upcoming 2012 season. The most important race will be Rund um den Eschborn Frankfurt. Here, the win is targeted.
Top 5 placings are expectet for three races, the Criterium Hainleite, the Deutschland Tour and the HC-race Bayern Rundfahrt.
Last goal is to be one of Top 10 teams in Europe once the season is finished.

"These goals aren´t too hard for our first season and i´m confident we won´t fail completely. But cycling is unpredictable and especially the Bayern-Rundfahrt is a hard race with many teams who want to have a rider in the Top 5. However, strong competitors shouldn´t be an explanation for failing."

Other races Trilux will focus on are the the ProRace Berlin and races in other countries. These are the Tour of the Czech Republik the Manx International in the UK, the Int. Osterreich Rundfahrt and the GP Herning.

"The races outside of Germany are in neighbouring countries - this guarantees attention in the media. Exception here is the Manx International in the UK. We want do good there as it is one of the main foreign business locations of Trilux."
