After the much disappointment 2011 brought to Lipton Ice Tea, there was obviously no chance this squad would continue under the same name and money and so, the look for a new sponsor was a complete pain in the bottoms.
After a surprise top5 in 2010, expectations were high and the awful end of 2011 made it harder to find a sponsor that would trust this squad and a staff that manages this team for 4 years. But, after all, this is the same staff that always ends up getting a new sponsor to bet their credibility for a team, and this year the most, it's a gigantic risk.
And through some exhausting process, a surprising move happened. After all, there is life in Portugal and portuguese company Webeffect compromised themselves to a one year deal, although with less financial flexibility that the year before. But Webeffect is focused on taking this oportunity to be known worldwide, and so they managed to get a second sponsor, to help them financially. The sponsor: world famous broadcast network BBC, again, with a one year deal. BBC also made it clear that they didn't want to name the team, but they are featured in the extravagant jersey.

You can't ride in a jersey like that. The light in the game will freak out over it.
Thank you for having Adam-Pietre Armstrong this last season though. |

On another note; my eyes hurt. |

Completely random choice of sponsor
I made that shirt like 2 years ago, and a few months ago i decided to change the colors, in order to beat Waghlon. But BBC didn't really had a purpose, just random design choice.
Fenian, pleasure to the deal with you.
Rjc. thank you aswell for having Appollonio with you

I can do uglier than that. Just one colour. The hideous 255,255,0 pink everyone hates.

If anyone here watch "How I Met Your Mother", I picture Waghlon as Barney Stinson here. "Challenge accepted!"

Today reports surfaced that Romain Zingle might be unhappy at his current outfit Webeffect, and would rather have a move to the new Belgian sponsor Bpost. When asked, Bpost management stated that they would be happy with such a move and would find Zingle a nice place in their team if he could be convinced to leave.
How does Webeffect respond to this?

Vitor Rodrigues has said to a local newspaper that the only pink jersey he would be willing to wear was the maglia rosa. As so the media is already speculating if a contract with Cerne would fit the portuguese's wishes.
