Very early on in the race, Bewley, Sergent and O'Neill goes clear

The closest pursuers, Williamson and Roulston, are quickly over 4 minutes back - while O'Neill is dropped. And after soom applied pressure, Sergent also finds he cannot keep up

100km later, Sergent finds he is alone in 2nd no longer - first Williamson, and then Roulston, catch him
