My first story ever in PCM. Started on this save earlier this week, and have had a lot of time on my hands. I've gotten as far as 2013 already, and this season we will try to participate in the biggest races. Look at this as more of a save report, as I don't think I have the patience to create a complete story

Undisputed Leader:
The definitive best rider of the team, and undisputed leader. Capable of winning most of the races on the calendar. His primary goal this season is Milan - San Remo, and possibly the Gent - Wevelgem.
Officers:
After having an all-norwegian team the last seasons, we decided it was time to strengthen our mountain capabilities. He's also a great TTist, and will aim at the bigger one-week-races
Kristoff has evolved greatly the last seasons, and has proven his skills in a lot of smaller races. We hope that he will take a step further this season.
Good all-rounder, who only lacks time-trialing abilities. Will be supporting EBH in the bigger races and try to get some victories of his own in the smaller races.
Before this season, he was the only rider who had capabilites in the mountains. Hopefully he will continue to improve, and one day be able to compete at the highest level.
Team mates:
Rest of the team:
Next up: Previous achivements and season goals.

Why is Boasson Hagen always so overrated ? 12 stats >75 ?

But actually this might even be possible in 2013. Seeing him sprinting for the podium in the GT`s and being quite good in the mountains as also shown in the Giro or Tour last year and again in Oman this year.

And I forgot, I don't have a shirt for the team, and would greatly appreciate if someone made one for me. No requirements, as long as it's pink and there's a big wihte tractor on the front and back. Will be much appreciated. |

It's pretty save to say that Hagen will never be so strong, it's not even close to realistic |

Previous achievements:
Victories only
2011:
- 1st Tour of Oman, EBH
- 1st Kuurne - Bruxelles - Kuurne, EBH
- 1st Coppa Placci, Kristoff
- 1st Coppa Bernocchi, Kristoff
- 1st Trofeo Matteotti, Kristoff
- 1st Chateauroux Classic de l'Indre Trophee Fenioux, Kristoff
Boasson Hagen was injured from April - October, so he didn't achieve very much.
2012:
- 1st Post Danmark Rundt, EBH
- 1st Tour du Limousin, EBH
- 1st Tour du Mediterraneen, EBH
- 1st Paris - Camembert, EBH
- 8th Vuelta a Espana, EBH. Around 45 minutes behind the winner
We also had a ton of podium finishes, but I won't bother listing the all up.
Next: Hopefully the TDU, if we get a wildcard. I don't think I will post the calendar for each rider, since it is unknown which races they will participate in. |

Don't blame me, blame PCM. And he still have a long way to go, if we should believe my trainer |

Tour Down Under:
Team:
Edvald Boasson Hagen
Alexander Kristoff
Lars Petter Nordhaug
Ole Haavardsholm
Tor Ole Strømmen
Rasmus Faraasen
Hans Risa
Stage 1:
Hopefully this will end in an mass-sprint. We don't have the team to reel in the breakaway ourselves, but can always send a rider or two to help.
First breakaway of the day, most important riders are Freire and Quinziato.
The peloton reacts quickly, and they are right back in the group.
A lot of action, quite many riders are trying to get away, and even after 30kms, the break has still not setteled.
With 90 kms to go, the breakaway is caught by the peloton. More action to come.
Finally, 60 kms in the race the break finally settles. Surprisingly Jurgen Roelandts has been allowed in it. He is in company with Marc de Maar. Roelandts has been considered one of the favorites to influence the race. So apparently his form is not as good as considered on beforehand.
They break has a maximum lead of 3 minutes, but it is slowly decreasing. With 15 kms to go they are caught, and the fight for the positions begin!
Our lead-ot is as follows:
1. Haavardsholm
2. Nordhaug
3. Kristoff
4. Hagen
With 5k to go, we are situated perfectly! (the four riders with white, black and red shirts)
Kristoff leading-out EBH, with Sutton and Turgot following closely.
Victory!
Results:
I don't think every stage will be this detailed, it took way more time than expected. And also, currently I can't read the stage exports but that will be fixed.
And I know that my bike and (missing) wheels look silly, and I will change that

Favorites:
The favorites to win the TDU are as follows:
- Edvald Boasson Hagen
Proved yesterday that he is in form, and we all know about his hilllclimbing abilities.
- Jose Joaquin Rojas
This fast spaniard lost his leadout-man yesterday, and therefore didn't finish top 10. Hopefully they will have sorted out the problems today. Capable of winning any of the stages.
- Allan Davis
Must never me underestimated, maybe the fastest accelerating man in the peloton.
2. stage
Another flat stage. Our tactic is the same as yesterdays, sit in the peloton and see what happens. Right now we can't afford to send a rider in a breakaway, so we will have 3 waterboys.
Todays breakaway:
- Tombak
- Gaudin
- Mata
- Hammond
- Buffaz
- Fumagalli
- Marangoni
- Poulhies
- Walker
- Nizzolo
- Lancaster
- Hansen
- Schär
- Kaisen
The breakaway has 6 minutes on the pack, when they start to reel them back in, with 70 kms to go. All of the sprints are therefore won by someone in the break.
With 22 kms to go, the break still has over 3 minutes on the peloton, will we be able to catch them? Faraasen, Risa and Strømmen are sent to the front to help out.
10 kms to go the break is still 2 minutes ahead, all chances of winning seems to be lost. We send Haavardsholm to the front.
3 km to go and the breakaway is now in reach! Amazing team effort.
What a mess! Hagen is far behind after Kristoff got cutoff by one of the breakaway riders.
With 1k to go, Hagen proves his massive speed, will he be able to win?
Yes. he is! Great perfomance by the young norwegian.
