The last flat road stage of the race - a chance for the sprinters, if they can overcome the early climbs, and have enough strength left from the rest of the race to date.

At the KoMs, Delgado may feel safe with a 25 point cushion, but Dupont has not given up yet. He only gets 3rd at the first climb though, behind Brutt and Martinez

Its the same order at the next 2 climbs - but Dupont is still able to close the gap to 7 points. If he keeps this up, he could take the jersey on the penultimate or final stage.

In the battle for 2nd, the main sprinters all decided to follow a Control rider. By the time I spotted this, the control rider had been dropped.

And in the run in, Dempsters pulls the two Martinezs away from the pack. Bertogliati, Ochoa Quintero and Txurruka try to follow.

Damian Martinez cruises to 2nd - the first time he has really gone for a stage finish as well. The other Martinez is 3rd, while Kunshin fought through to take 4th.
