Renew problem

Normally, I don't have but 25-28 riders in my team, so this situation hadn't arrived. My team has 30 riders and I want to renew one of them at the beginning of the season. However, it says I can't do it because my roster can't have more than 30 riders. That is silly, because it is a renewal, not a new hiring, but anyways. That means I must cancel the contract of one of my current riders in order to renew any other? On the other hand, lets say I have 29 riders, but 5 of them finish their contract at the end of the season. Can I hire 5 more in july (for the next season) or the game supposes I would end having 34 so it wouldn't allow me to do that?

Had the same problem. Worked end of January for some reason. Just try again later.

In July you can hire as many people as expiring contracts+free slots to 30. So yes. 29 riders - 5 expiring contracts= 6 possible signings in July.
