Franco Pellizotti has now won 3 stages in a row. And today its a Mountain time trial. 4? His teammate might have something to say, this probably being Igor Anton's best chance of a stage win - while Yeison Delgado will have no KoM distractions today.

And Igor Anton is the first notable rider. He catches and passes Damian Martinez, and leads at the finish

Red Bull's pure climber Parra Bustamente rides well. 12 seconds behind Anton at the finish

Zakayo Ndbri goes much better than Gutierrez Palacios. He finishes 25 seconds behind Anton, and is again beaten by Yeison Delgado. The KoM leader dissapointingly lost 21 seconds to Anton though

Niemiec equals Delgado's time, while Kilun goes 2 seconds slower - so 2 seconds ahead of Ndbri.

The battle for the young riders jersey is close. Kritskiy leads Kunshin and Yasmani Martinez by 19 seconds. Kritskiy is in Green though - despite being 2nd to Pellizotti there - so its Kunshin wearing white. It remains tight after today, Kritskiy gaining 4 seconds on both of the other 2. Kunshin and Martinez both do gain a place though, after a bad ride by Nozal

Evgeni Petrov and Konstantin Siutsou currently hold podium positions, and do seem the best of the rest behid Pellizotti. And they are well behind him - over 4 minutes.

Neither will be particularly pleased with their ride today. Petrov is outside the Top 5, one second behind Ndbri. Siutsou doesnt even make the top 10. Petrov therefore reduces the gap to Siutsou by 9 seconds, to 35.

Franco Pellizotti then. He tops the climb 1st, 5 seconds up on Anton - and by the finish he is 11 seconds up to take the stage. 6 seconds is an impressive gain in a descent that generally did not cause many gaps - but Pellizotti's descent wasnt quite the fastest. Niemiec and Kilun have that honour, which is why having summited in 7th and 8th, those 2 ended in 5th and 6th.

But for Pellizotti, that it his 4th stage in a row. And 6th in total. Up to a 50% record then.
