It's random. The game sets it and you can't affect it.

No. As Pellizotti2 said, it's completely random. |

Why not?
It doesn't impact form of the day, but it does impact either fitness or stats in one way or another, just like the hidden nationality bonus. |

You can somehow affect it because you captain will never get lower then -3. (At least it was like that in PCM 09)
BTW: Isn't there a bug in this game that you can set all riders to be captain? |

Hi champions,
I have a question:
How come that when I send a runner to training course 10 days to rest in may or june, after a debut in charge of season, he does'nt get back at the level of the bar of stamina? |

Are you talking about the fatigue? As far as I know the fatigue is the only bar which does not reset after the end of a race.
A rider can only recover fatigue when his training fitness is very low. So set his training schedule to level 2 or 1 and wait............

ok thks for your answer Lachi. When you talk about "training schedule to level 2 or 1", this is in the training program we choose for the rider at the beginning of the season? |

Don`t really know a %. But A 76rider with +5 can challenge a 78-79rider with -5 in my opinion. But also hard to say as the fitness etc. play a big role and so I don`t have good tests so far. |

I never choose a training program at the beginning of the season but I manually create a training schedule for every rider individually. Creating and editing manual training schedules can be done during the whole year.
But if you select a predefined training plan, your rider should not have a problem with the fatigue (or are the predefined plans so bad???) |

Ok thks Lachi. I have a question, do you think that the training program "classic 31" or "tour de France 6" (the 2 are alike) is adapted for Contador in order to run TDF and Vuelta. And when you change the program during the season, it works well or not in case I want to rest my rider. |

Actually I would recommend you to make your own plans. In PCM09 they plans totally sucked as your riders were exhausted in July. Don`t think they changed very much in PCM10. Also it`s not really hard to create own plans and they are much more effective. |

Is it possible to give an example of a training program with a screen please? Runners who interest me are Contador & Boonen for example. Because even if I do it myself it is possible that this is not well suited to the rider and he gets tired quickly. Thank you |

There are 2 training plans. Haussler`s schedule should also suit Boonen with a good form for MSR, cobbled classics and the Tour plus preparation etc. and then back again for the Worlds, Paris Tours etc. Instead of Tour Down Under you could also have some more training between Tour ond Worlds of course.
2nd plan should be for Contador starting in Mallorca, Algarve, Paris Nice, Pais Vasco, Tour.
The 2nd peak is for the Worlds in this plan but of course you can also go for the Vuelta with moving the peak 3 weeks.
Copy to Fitnessschedule in Mydocs and open ingame for seeing it.
As you will see, there is no training level 6. So he will never be at 100 but with ~95 for his peaks he can also do well. Therefore he isn`t that exhausted and can do well over a longer period of time.

From what i've experienced, it's kinda hard to keep up in the tour with the top contenders with a maximum peak of 95 points fitness. But if you play with Contador it should be easier. |

Well. I won the Vuelta with LL Sanchez against Contador this way on hard. Also good results in all other races.
But if your race schedule allows you can also go on 6 for one weak. You just need a racebreak afterwards. |

Vuelta is another thing. With a good planning on the number of race days you can be competitive against everyone there as usually Contador is tired and with a high number of race days at that point. In my case, i never managed to beat Contador in France and i played many tours with the likes of S. Sanchez or Evans. |
