From Columbus to Dayton, flat again. YouTube still lead the way with the race lead and 3 stage wins, Tinkoff and Quiksilver now each have 2 - nothing yet for Pirelli or Red Bull.

Ever since Markov has gone for the intermediate sprints, he has struggled in the sprints at the finish. He must think it purely coincidentally though, as he is going for them again and wins the first - from Haidar and Kinney

And the 2nd sprint too. Martinez 2nd this time. Still going for the sprints, but not the most successful Martinez in his team anymore

5km to go to the next sprint, and we've seen this before! YouTube's flat stage tactic in motion again, Pozzo pulling Pellizotti clear.

Hopes of another 40km+ solo stage win are dashed though, as the proximity to the intermediate sprints means the sprinters will close the gap down. Pellizotti wins the sprint though, from Markov and Martinez

Pellizotti drops back to the peloton, while Igor Anton has been dropped!

Igor Anton on paper is the 2nd best stage racer in the race. But his race days are quite frankly being wasted here in support of Pellizotti, and he is now set to lose time on the flat - with Tinkoff and Red Bull pushing the peloton on

The sprint train is right at the back. Yasmani Martinez has been suckered into it today - forgetting his 2 wins have both came from not being anywhere near the sprint train

Petrov takes the lead. With no real threats, maybe Tinkoff should let him win to gain a 20 second bonus. Or not, Kunshin has other ideas.

And easily wins the stage. A Tinkoff 1-2, Petrov comfortably 2nd ahead of Parras Bustamente taking a surprise 3rd.

Ovechkin is a happy 6th, but points jersey hopefuls and Kritskiy and Markov take 12th and 13th only. Markov's work earlier in the day does mean he gets back the Points jersey though.
