So, Stage 4. Hagerstown to Morgantown. Its a tough hilly stage, so this may be the first opportunity to see just how strong Pellizotti is. Oh, wait - he has already done that! Therell be a few riders not looking forward to today though, with YouTube now leading the race, they have a strong selection of domestiques to choose from to set the pace.
Another intermediate sprint win for Damian Martinez - evidently he is here for the money from the Sprint primes, rather than any sort of ranking point achievements. Haidar Anuawar 2nd, Kritskiy 3rd
With 3km to the top of the first climb, Semple attacks for Red Bull. Gutierrez Palacios, Curfs, Zwizanski, Dupont, Yeison Delgado and Brutt all counter. Zwizanski tops the climb, from Gutierrez Palacios and Delgado
The increase in pace has dropped 3 sprinters from the peloton: Haidar Anuawar, D'Amore and Markov. They won't be back.
A group of 5 forms upfront, Zwizanski, Gutierrez Palacios, Dupont, Brutt and Curfs. But the Pirelli duo are soon dropped.
Gutierrez Palacios has a good gameplan on the 2nd climb. Brutt is his rival in the competition, but jsut clinging on to the wheels at the top, so the points go to the Spaniard
YouTube are setting the pace behind, with leadout riders Dempster and Matthews dropped. 39km to go, and the gap to the lead 3 lies at just 50 seconds. And eager to bring the fight to Pellizotti, Siutsou attacks!
He moves past the breakaway before a Pellizotti response also leads to Kilun, Petrov, Nozal and Yasmani Martinez responding. Pellizotti meanwhile, catches Siutsou
Siutsou takes the points at the top of the climb, Pellizotti still with him. Petrov is 30 seconds behind, moving away from Martinez. We then have Nozal, Kilun and Zwizanski, and then a Tinkoff led peloton, feeling the need to chase, for whatever reason
Tinkoff are effectively chasing their team leader here. But first, they catch Kilun, Zwizanski and Nozal - followed by Martinez. Up front, Siutsou and Pellizotti are to stay away - but Siutsou is forced to lead out
2 in a row for Pellizotti then, Siutsou never had a chance when leading out
Petrov takes 3rd, but chased all the way to the line by his team, his only gain will be the 8 second time bonus
So the gap for Pellizotti and Siutsou to the peloton is 1'31, Siutsou will be content in terms of 2nd place in GC - but theres no gain there on Pellizotti
