tom boonen cant win sprints against hoste & ballan ?

hi guys,
iv been playing pcm since pcm 6 & always been really happy about it.
This years edition tough i found out that classic specialist tom boonen looses all his little groups sprints (3-8ppl) vs riders like ballan, hoste, cancellara,flecha...
owkej ofc he can loose once in a while if he has a bad day & the others have a good day, but my last couple of classic races i went to the finish with hoste & ballan, and i still had good yellow red & green bar, i was +3, i started sprinting in 2th position 1.2km before the finish(wich usualy get the job done)
ballan, who was in 3th, won without even sprinting, he just kept sitting in his seat & i felt back when i clicked the sprint button, i never went over hoste who was sprinting as first...
that doesnt make any sense, and it is happening quite frequinlty, anyone an idea ? |

Are you using the latest patch (1.0.4.2.) ? If so you should download Patch 1.0.4.1. I know its an earlier patch but Cyanide or whoever messed up and the sprints dont work in PCM10 very well, with that patch. So download the 1.0.4.1 from 1.0.0.0 patch and everything should be alright. Its in the Recommended Downloads section on the right. -->

Yep it will work. But if you get pink flags delete all existing Local.cdb's in your My Documents Folder of PCM10/Database. Then copy in the correct one, which can be found in PCMDailyBackup folder (cant remember where it is located but just search on the start menu).

It is under located in C:/programs/cyanide/
There should be two folders. One being the actual game the other is the back-up by pcmdaily...

stages are won by the rider in the lead group who is best over the days profile, doesn't matter if the finish is uphill or down imo, example....Flanders will be won by the rider in the lead group who is best at hills and cobbles, it doesn't matter what his sprint stat is. If you show someone the results of a stage without them seeing it unfold, most of the time they will think it's a realistic result, but play the game and we can see the bugs. This is just my opinion.

well since the use of that patch i have been riding more realistic races, no hoste that is beating hausler hushovd & boonen in a small group sprint any more  |
