General help needed =(

Been trying to sort out downloads for PSM2010 all day and seem to be getting no where. I have seen videos where all the riders names are as they should be and all teams have the correct equipment. I just want to know what downloads i need for this? =( Seems like a whole day wasted on downloads which have not done anything. Please someone turn my day around before my head explodes.

I have done these downloads. Nothing is working. Can someone not just email me there CDB file from there database? All these downloads are just confussing things. So annoyed =( |

Pelizottis answer is almost correct.
Yes, the patch is important for the game but it depends, if you play single player only, then you have to go for patch 1.0.4.1 (that would be his first link) but if you want to play multiplayer also, you need to install patch 1.0.4.2 (link can be found on the right)
Then you need either this:

Finally, after you downloaded either of the above (to reach version 2.0) you would need the patch 2.1:

If you downloaded these but the real names do not show up in the game, then read the FAQ (there is a forum especially for the pcmdaily DB)
BTW: If you do not care about additional races and material, but only want the correct team and rider names, just download the real name DB from here:

Did you select the DB in the options of the game?
If you are not able to install it correctly, just take the simple DB (the latest download I suggested in my previous post)

Just the cdb doesn`t work. You also need all the graphical stuff and the stages, that are defined in the cdb. Otherwise you will have errors.

Can you tell me which folder i need to install them into? Im using flashget3 to download my stuff into but im not sure where it goes after that. When i downloaded the original i downloaded it into the downloads section on my computer. i also have a patch folder in the donloads section. But then i also have a folder in my documents called Pro cycling manager 2010 which contains all the fine details. I have a feeling all my folders are messed up =(. I think i have fooled myself =( |

Normally the game is installed in C rogram files. Look for a folder called something like Pro Cycling manager.
But the files of the dailyDB are self-extracting. It should be enough to double click them in the correct order (see my first post) and follow the instructions.
After you extracted all files, you should start your game and go to the options. There you should be able to select the DB (click on it, then set it as default). |

My bad luck seems to have continued for a second day. I have managed to download the updates and they are all working. I have the new database which means all the names are correct and i now have loads of equipment. But i still have a few problems. My first problem is that i cant click the equpiment below halfway point when the list comes down of the frames. Im only able to click the top half of the bikes. The second problem is my game keeps crashing saying Pro cycling manager has stopped working and then forced to close the program. Thankyou for the help so far. Just looks like im cursed =( |

1) You can`t select the very low equipment. You also don`t have, too. The equipment is integrated in the DB, so you and all other teams will automatically wear and ride the real stuff. So no reason to click on it in the equipment menu.
2) I suppose that your computer might be not good enough. You can try to lower the graphics. With all the new equipment the game needs much more energy. |

Adding to this point, when you click to start a race you can select all/95% of the equipment down the list there, but when you try to buy it only half is clickable. This is perfectly normal because the game (original files) only has 3 different brands of equipment.

1. You can pick all the equipment in the Pre-Stage Equipment Selection.
2. If it crashes when clicking a stage, you didn't install the files to the correct folder. |

Ive decided to write it here instead of starting a new topic.
If my wage budget at my custom team is £404,050 and Im signing all 15 of my riders again for next season.
Ive got Gesink and Sagan coming too, aswell as some young riders. Will I have gone over my wage budget for next season.
Im currently leading th CQ ranking with 30 victories aswell this year, my team leader Menchov finsihed 2nd in the Giro aswell as won some small stage races. Im currently at the TDF.

If the sponsor happiness ist totally full at the end of the season you will get about double your actual budget.
I think the game somehow pre-calculates this value and shows it in the signing dialog. If the game allowed you to sign these riders, in my opinion it is enough to maintain the actual sponsor happiness to be ok for next season. |

i played another season and obviously lost few riders but i want to edit them back in my team

The link to my editor is in all my posts, shouldn't be too hard to get access to that editor.
I don't know what should be obvious about loosing riders, just prolong their contracts and/or accept that the game doesn't allow you to.
There are about hundrets of dyn-thingiess in the DB. All of them can be accessed by selecting the desired one in the editor.
sanjus second question:
There are millions of threads about the salary cap and the only solution is to decrease the salary of the actual riders.

It's not an installation file - just download, unpack and start the editor - where's the problem ? |

Actually i downloaded it which was fine.
Its a zip file which i used Winzip to open
Then i extracted the files to my desktop. After the extraction there is a folder which then appears whose name is Lachi Editor
In the folder there are two exe files
i tried to run the exe but it does not start!
how do i use your editor dear?
And i just need them for single player.
