This race is all about the bonus seconds, five flat stages, with only a couple of speed bumps to distract the sprinters, expect big things from some of the best in the business
Swift will lead the British charge here, and ably supported by the best Irish cycling has to offer, expect him to be tough to beat. That said, Goss is just as quick as him in the closing metres of a stage, while the likes of Rowe and Vaitkus are not far behind, while Bozic, Casper, Van Poppel and many other sprinters mean that his will be a battle with many a sting in it's tail

Our last season goal here, to take a stage win. Maybe it´s too many hills for Chicchi here not a pancake flat stage, but then it´s up to Van Hummel maybe, or take a win after a breakaway. |

I guess stage 4 will be an attackwinning stage, so I believe that a sprinter won't win the race.

A punchy-sprinter could win it

I'm guessing Vaitkus. Who likes to attack rather then sprint.

The sponsors were a bit miffed we didn't enter this one, but the team felt the organizers were not doing us any favours with the parcours.

Swift should do really well, so he probably wont.

I think Pokerstars can carry on living the dream here they have many possibilities in their squad.
Two flat ones to start so the green team should have chance to get that sprint train in operation at least!

I'll make a bold move here then, saying Pendleton's Simon Gerrans will win

Basing my prediction upon previous Conti performances by Rowe, we'll come last, or first. With nothing in between. |

Very bold move Heine, seen as Gerrans doesn't ride for me. |

Awesome
Great win for Swift, and a time gap gained on many - with my 4 Irishmen in the front group aswell

expected performance from Dumoulin and surprising look on sprinting Boucher, who did well today
nice and brave move from Geslin and disappointing with Van Impe - maybe he could try something in upcoming stages
