Welcome to Spain for this mountainous classic, Urkiola Igoera. The best climbers in the Continental tour are here, so expect top notch racing, Ricco, Pellizotti and Allarcon are probably the three strongest, however, Kohl, CT leader Taaramae and home favourite Lopez Garcia will be looking to play spoiler

This is a fairly short race for HC points, as such the break has a decent chance and so must be watched.

Again and again 10-20 riders try and go up the road, however the peleton isn't having any of it

Ten riders eventually get clear: Sagan, Munoz Giraldo, Remme, Vorontsov, Tizza, Betancourt, Shpilevski, Sabido, Costa and Curfs, Gourov would later join them

Up the first climb Delgado is first to attack, Samwel and Ndbri follow

Only Delgado gets clear, but teammate and Spanish champion Mercado tries to follow him

The two don't work together, yet they close on the break as they reach the top

On the flat Pellizotti decides to go for it

This causes Delgado to be pulled back

The pair catch the breakaway, and are now 50 seconds ahead of the peleton

The peleton close in, but the break are just about to hit the climb

No one wants to burn out, so the peleton wait and as Pellizotti leads under 5km to go the break are about to be pulled back

The sprint for 6th goes to Anton ahead of Cobo, Perez Sanchez, Evans and Kessiakoff round out the top ten
