DH: Welcome one last time for this short hop into Paris, the classifications look sewn up following yesterdays time trial. There will no doubt be some nerves as we make this 120km journey to the Champs Elysees.
Sm: One of the widest streets in Europe and certainly a place that all sprinters want to gains a sprint victory on.
Kg: Daniele Bennati, highly likely to win the green jersey will start favourite. Though we have seen Boonan and Van Stayen take sprint wins so far.
Sm: I think Pearl Adidas's Vanderbeist, Energie Diesal's Corioni, Sony Ericcson's Granjel Cabrera, Festina's Lavoine and Andre Greipal of Bbox will feel they are in with a shout also.
DH: Let us not rule out a breakaway as we saw on stage 19 the peleton is tired. Early on we saw Martin Eibegger of Domina Vacanze take the first sprint.
Eibegger takes sprint one
DH: He was part of a nine man breakaway, the names Kingston for us please.
Sm: Nice to see Kloden up there for Cafe du Columbia, this is surely his last season. You know they have had a disappointing race, it will be interesting to see how they think about giving Valverde a go next year.
DH: You would have to say riders like Cunego, Sella, Intxausti would be great to see here in a race like this also.
DH: Eibegger by the way took the second sprint before we got into the circuits up and down the famous cobbled street.
Eibegger takes the second sprint
DH: It was Pearl Adidas and Gazzeta leading the chase, assumedly for Vanderbeist and Bennati.
Sm: Yes, it is grim determination for Pearl Adidas things just have not gone their way here at the Tour. It is difficult for Vanderbeist with Boonan and Bennati here, similarly for Fothen he has been blown away by the competition.
Pearl and Gazzeta keen to bring this back
DH: It was a great sight for the riders to see after some hard racing this year, we can see the Arc de Triumphe.
Paris - ahoy
DH: Here we are live then and we can now see our breakaway still ahead and it is veteren Andreas Kloden who leads us through into the final circuit.
Kloden leads us through
Sm: They are beginning to attack each other on the cobbles, the peleton can see their prey but boy they are not giving in.
DH: It is Soler winner of stage 19 and Kvist of Festina.
Soler and Kvist are not giving up
Sm: Soler gave Energie Diesal a real boost with that stage win, they are definitely a team with relegation issues. Festina will feel the tour has been well so - so, King of the Mountains and 8th for Contador feels like mission accomplished but they miss the glory of one really good day.
Kg: CHUTE!
DH: Kingston we are live mate I have told you before.
Kg: Crash.
DH: Please not Phinney...
Sm: Iglinski, that's a bit of a shame he has ridden well here.
Iglinski crashes, costing some places on GC as a result
Kg: That will move riders like Menchov and Zabriskie up a result.
DH: We are coming towards the end here 4.5km to go and Solar is now solo as he goes under the tunnel with 4.5km to go the gap is about 25 seconds.
Soler still leads going into the tunnel section for the last time
DH: Behind Soler the trains become clear as we exit the tunnel.
Four trains and the pace snake
Sm: On the left it is Sieberg and Van Stayen and then the Pace Snake. I think the Energie Diesal train is led by Biondo for Corioni with Castaneda behind.
DH: The Lafarge train that we have not seen before is Bonnet leading Docker, then Greipel. Boonen. Lavoine and Granjel Cabrera
Kg: and of course we have Marinangeli leading out Bennati with Nolan Hoffman on his wheel.
DH: The lead outs move away quite quickly as we overtake Soler and it is the Energie Diesal and Lafarge men who are going at it.
Sm: Corioni vs Docker then.
1800m to go
DH: Here comes Bennati though, he is storming thorough with Hoffman and Pearl Adidas rider has appeared.
Sm: Vanderbeist!
DH: Corioni is looking faster than Docker, Boonan is having difficulty finding a way through here.
Bennati powers through
DH: Hoffman is trying to come inside of Bennati here and Van Stayen on the left side is close.
Sm: Boonan cannot get through, Phinney is sprinting as well Daniel!
600m to go
DH: But there is no going around the Italian as he takes his fourth stage win and really confirms his green jersey.
Bennati takes it
Sm: Hoffman takes a very fine second place and I believe Vanderbeist will make up the podium.
Kg: Van Stayen is 4th, a position he will finish in the points classification. Fifth was Corioni with Castaneda behind him.
DH: Then I think Docker just pipped Phinney with Greipal 9th ahead of Boonan a disappointing 10th.
