We are in Denmark for the Post Danmark Rundt, and this Hc race has attracted a variety of competitors, and no Ignatiev means that it should be wide open. Hushovd has been rated favourite due to his strong all round abilities, but the nature of a race which requires all round talent is that if those without can capitalise on their individual strength then they may take victory
The hilly stage isn't very tough, but all the early stages finish on tricky circuits so there are definately possibilities for the hilly riders. Sprints will play their part, while the time trial is long enough that a solid time triallist will be in with an excellent shot.

Im more for stages than GC here. Kennaugh can sprint, but might not. Roche can climb but not TT. Stannard can TT but not climb.

Our next season goal, and we need to be best in the danish " mountains ". Maybe Sörensen can attack and attack in his home country and take it, that would be a dream... And we have Chicchi and Van Hummel here for some good sprints and Hoogerland to make something in the hills. |

Apparantly I rated the TDU as a higher worth than here.
I suspect I already had Ignatiev down for something else race wise, and this didn't fit. Or I'm just plain mad. |

It wouldn't have fit into Ignatiev's race day amount anyway, even if I had picked it. In all honesty, it would probably have been Hermans leading here if I was here. Or Rowe. |

Plus in all likeliness, I probably looked at previous years results and saw a sprinting TTer win. Rather than a Rouleur. Or a breakaway win. Or wind ruin stuff. |

Obviously, now Kocjan will pull a stunt again .
Nah, again Bagdonas with the TT and Smukulis all round (70 TT, 75 Flat, 72 Hill, 72 Spr, 77 Sta). But most likely he will fail . Nazon for the sprints with Kocjan and Pacheco as support.
Edit: Just out of curiosity, who does PCM put up as my leader and where does it rank me?

Kami: Had a heart attack when you said you were missing, as I thought I was responsible for the startlist here. Just checked and no fault my end. Let Smukalis suck once again  (Surely he is team leader I would have thought!)
The race though is going to be very interesting - a number of rider can win should be fun!

To be fair to Smukulis, its not that he sucks as team leader, its that he simply isnt a team leader, so has unfair expectations (Why I defend him, after he asked me to pay him too much of a salary after last season, who knows!)

I have a strong team here. I hope Hushovd can be in play for the overall win as well as Forero and Vanderaerden for the sprints and De Gendt for the time trial.
It looks like the race will be really interesting and with no big favourite, so I hope I will have some good luck in this race.
