After a few years away from professional cycling, the german wireless services provider decided that it's time to come back in the cycling's top tier. They took over the spot from the german bankrupt sponsor Milram. With a long term project in mind, step by step they want T-Mobile to become the world's best cycling team. |

The leaders of the team are:
Alexander Vinokourov
His goals are UCI one week races, the Ardennes classics and Top 5 at either TDF or Giro.
Andreas Kloden
We hope we will be successful in one week stage races and it remains to be seen if he will ride Giro or TDF. Obviously with the ambiton of getting a very good result.
Gerard Ciolek
One of the most talented sprinters in the peloton, he will be aiming the sprinters classics, the green jersey at the Tour and other wins in the likes of Cavendish, Farrar or Freire. And who knows, maybe the Worlds at Melbourne.

Nice, i remeber cheering for T-Mobile back in 2000-2005 when Jan and Vino where riding. Fun to see a story with the old one's. Why dont you add Jan as a free rider? Might be fun
Anyways, cant wait to follow this story

Our co-captains and the riders wich will have their chances of getting some good results over the season are:
Linus Gerdemann
We expect him to shine in one week races like Bayern Rundfahrt, Eneco tour and be a good support for our leaders in GT. He will also have his shots at the national championship and maybe the Worlds.
Fabian Wegmann
Wegmann will target good results at important hilly classics, the national and his number 1 objectve, the gold medal at the road race in Melbourne. Also, he will help Vinokourov in April.
Christian Knees
The german champ. Will have the chance to show his jersey to the world in grand tours. He will help Vinokourov and Kloden and maybe get a win or two this season.

In order for Ciolek to shine, we've build a powerful sprint train with the likes of:
Marcus Burghardt
A very good flat rider. His primary focus is to help Ciolek and then some nice results at cobbled races.
Bernhard Eisel
Ciolek lead-out man. And as we don't have a leader for the cobbled classics, he will co lead the team alongside Burghardt.
Bert Grabsch
An incredible powerful rider on flat terrain. Hope he will make the difference at the preparation for Ciolek's sprint.
Jens Voigt
A very experienced rider. Also a part of our sprint train but he will have some chances for a breakaway at grand tours. |

And now our mascot
Niki Terpstra, the dutch champ.
He will also be a part of our cobbled races team. We expect he gets some nice victories with successful breakaways.
Next, is our complete roster with interested rider such as Rohregger, Forster, Klier.

@ markene2. I could do that but i want to stick with Vino and Kloden.
@ redlion1987. Yes, i am going to start in 2010, replacing Milram.
Some technical details about my career. I play with PCM Daily DB with a few changes of my own, most important being the fact that i changed the birth year to all riders with potential of -6 or above that were born before 1984 to 1984. I play on hard except the TT which i play on normal.

Speaking for the german newspaper while at T-Mobile first training camp in southern Sicily, team captain Andreas Kloden declared that his major goal for 2010 will be the Tour where he will target at least a top 5. He declared that he will start his season in mid April, at Vuelta Castilla y Leon. The german will remain on spanish soil for Vuelta Asturias until he will jet to US for Amgen Tour of California. He will come back in Europe for his final preparation, Tour de Suisse. Kloden will end his season with Vuelta Espana.
T-Mobile co-leader, kazach rider Alexander Vinokourov declared that he will target the Ardennes Classics and Giro. He choose to ride the italian grand tour instead of TDF because of the many TT that this year route will present. Vinokourov will start his season at Tour Down Under and end it with Giro di Lombardia, his final goal for the season.

We managed to sign some secondary sponsors. They haven't asked for very demanding goals. So:
After agreeing contracts with them, our projected finances show that at the end of October we will have 250 000 euro deficit. Hope we can cover this sum with some good race income.
On the sportive perspective, Cameron Meyer from Garmin-Transitions managed to grab Australian time trial crown. The road race was won by Simon Gerrans, Team Sky. Our debut is coming closer.

All goals quite easy for your team to complete. Did you use training camp already ? Many people find them to bit cheating at the start of season. Will Ciolek go for Giro or the Tour ? |
