I am thinking about buying this but I have one simple question which may sound silly but I really want to know.
Apparently franchise mode has been kept the same, however I am wondering if u can now see when someone has been drafted, I always liked to see, when you were a few years down the road, to see when the regenerated rookies were drafted in the career stats screen and such and if they have lived up to expectations. That wasn't possible in Madden 10.

I doubt it. For some reason EA-sports refuse to improve upon a shitty franchise mode.

Well yea on another forum there were alot of people complaining about the absence of draft history but I didn't find such topcis for madden 11 so I guess its back but I want to be absolutely sure

I am the last idiot who is still playing madden 08..last game what they made for PC
I like the game..and I like the game himself..but I still do not want to buy a console for that. |

Not the last.On the romanian forum we still make competions for madden 08 with updated rosters that we took from footballfreaks.
Ea Sports saying that piracy is the reason for not make the game for PC.I bought madden 06.Why to buy the game for 07 and 08 since is the same wih 06 with updated rosters?

The gameplay in Madden is stellar. Graphics and movement is unreal. However career mode and especially be a pro are awful. Like Guido said madden 08 for PC was awesome. I still have it as well becuase the manegment part of the game was aesome. If your looking to just PLAY Madden for a cheaper price than id say 11. I bought it for 35 dollars end of november on kijiji. However if your looking for an indepth manager mode than wait for 12. I still like to play, becuase the gameplay is very realistic.

Well I mean I do play franchise mode but I mostly manage all teams in the offseason so that no strange things occur and to keep it a challenge. But the thing I was wondering is the draft history visible, in other words can you see when players were drafted, which round and which pick and such And can you import a draft class without having a NCAA game? I came across a site which said that is possible but I'm not 100% sure.

Well the players a have bios were it says there stats, contracts and awards/accolades which includes when they were drafted. Im not sure you can import without NCAA rosters. Oh and I also believe the commentary imporved. They actually talk about interesting stuff. PLus when playina gainst the saints in the super bowl (loosing) the commentaros said "WHO DAT" which i found really neat. |

Hmm well yea ok, I think I still may be waiting for the next one. For some reason I have hope that Madden 12 will have a very much improved franchise mode, its gonna be a long wait but well I'd rather wait and pay more for a real upgrade than a small one which Madden 11 seems to be.

yeah just wait, imo 11 is only better for graphics, roster updates, ultimate team, commentary, and the cool thing were at halloween you see halloween stuff in the crowd an at xmas you see santa in the crowd.
Plus I wanna play you with 10 sometime.
