ok, i know i have seen this somewherebut spent an hour looking for it on the forums and couldnt find it. so i figured i would save me some time and just ask.
Ok with the scouting i was wondering what are the differences in no hopers, potential, and future great riders, i mean i know that there ar variant levels of riders, but would like to know the in depth version, plus what would be good starting out stats for gc, team mates, protected rides, ect.
If someone could explain this to me , would be greatly appreciated.thanks
For your scouting question... It's basically a measure of the riders potential to become a good rider. If you have a climber who's a "future great", you know that with training his climbing stats will likely be around 80 or so. If he's a "no hoper" then it's pretty much what you see is what you get; if he's a climber witha 60 mtn rating, he's not likely to progress much beyond that regardless of how much training he gets.
As for your starting out stats question... I'm afraid I don't quite know what you're asking there mate.
Sadly the scouts are wrong very often. You should always scout the stats of the 'better' young riders. If you found a climber who was called future great but his climbing stat is only around 60, then he will never become a top rider. A good starting stat would be around 70 on his speciality but that's rare.
ok, so i would look at him and scout him from his orgin, or the country he is from??? i remember a post a long time ago on the subject of scounting them but dont remember the details, i took a small break from playing pcm and did not retain some of the information
Sometimes it is not so easy to find the good U23 riders. For example France is devided in several regions and you might have to scout all regions to find him.
