Quick question about realism:

How do you guys account for doping in your game?

So far, I don't.

But I'm thinking about rolling a dice after each of the three GT. A six would mean the rider who finished sixth would be suspended for two years, etc. I would then go into the Lachi editor and add a two year injury.

With Contador, Mosquera, Pellizotti, Di Luca, Ricci, Dekker, Valverde, Kohl, Piepoli, Fofonov, Beltran, Ricco, etc and before them Basso, Landis, Vino, Rasmussen, etc I mean I feel foolish, and somewhat unrealistic that its not in the game...

Just an idea, looking for alternative ideas...

Maybe do nothing at all... I don't know.

1-2 years ago I always deleted or banned the real doped riders out of my db. But in my career at the moment there are still Contador, Mosquere, Da Pena, rui Costa and Rossi as newer cases. So I don`t care no longer as probably many many more are also doped without being caught.
So I just play on the status, the DB was when I started the career without updates.

The thing with the dice. You can do it of course, but that`s nothing for me. Too many big names would miss after 1-2 seasons.
