I don't think anyone has the Tour de San Luis' files, as there are no DEM files for Argentina, as far as I know. |

Nobody is doing the San Luis tour I think.
As kumazan said before. There are no .dem Files for Argentina. So you can`t use gpx files for the route and the hills. You have to build all hills, the lenght and direction manually like in Simcity and this is very much work.
I made many stages but I wouldn`t start to build stages without .dem files as it`s too frustrating. |

Do you know how to get or make .dem files?
not the ones who are already known? |

I tried it a bit but without success. I found some DEM files for some areas but these aren`T compatible with the PCM. Also I found many dem maps, so images, but these are also not really helpful.
So I have no clue how to make them. |

there should be a way to, i don't know, use somehow the information from pcm 09 stages. maybe just use the elevation data. then it would be very much easier.
btw, i just tried to create the waypoints with the x and y given in the xml file from the pcm 09 stage. the stage had 168 km, but in the pcm 10 stage editor it had about 7.5 kms. the route was correct at least. |

It is possible to make stages without .dem-files. The best way in my head, is to make road points so it's forexample one km between each road point. Then move each road point to the correct height. And then build the terrain around the route.

Well, for dem files, I tried different websites and differents technics and didn't manage to do them I also built some "flat" stages without dem. It's pretty difficult when you have small reliefs. I will try again with your way to do that
