This Norwegian stage race is well supported by the Scandenavian teams, notably by C Tour leaders Ikea Bianchi (just about ahead of Wiggle at my last count). Recent Transfaragarian GP winner Jose Alarcon is here, along with team captain Rein Taaramae.
They will be looking at stage twos mountain top finish to Beitostolun will be the key stage in this years race. The crowds will also flock to the last two stages for the technical finish on stage four and the short but steep circuit climbs on the final stage.
Plenty of teams have bought some decent climbers here to challenge the dominent Ikea...

...fellow promotion chasers Petronas have Carrara and UBS have Kohl. So both will be looking for the podium here. However some of the teams toward the bottom of the teams rankings have strong teams Bbox have Paulinho and Asterloza, Falcon have Eltink and Highroad have .... Sastre (actually last one is a joke!)
Evans, Bosisio, Kessiekoff and Kritsky will also look to feature for their teams, meanwhile Santander send a developmental squad here.
Schedule:
Saturday: Stage 1 + 2
Sunday: Stage 3 + 4
Monday: Stage 5 |

Quite a few teams have sponsor goals to win this, so it ought to be quite competitive

Profile wise Bosisio should enjoy do OK here. It is Bosisio though, so I expect him to end up riding for first year pro- Luzi. |

That´s was exciting. Hoogerland shows that he´s motivated and concentrated to make a good result here.
Good that Eltink caught up bad that every other climbers did so too.

Well raced by my guys I think, too bad the split got reeled in, haveing Rein away ++ would've been great.
Anyway, hopefully Kessiakoff can keep up on stage 2, then steal time and win on the 2 last stages.

Entertaining first stage - glad Bosisio has got thru' the first stage without messing up. Let's see how he does now on the stages that suit him better. |

I think I owe you all an apology. My guys look terrible with blue bikes and helmets. I'll fix that next year.

Hope he can stay top 5 which is the goal. |

That's what I've found so frustrating with Bosisio...that is the kind of result he is capable of. I'd be gutted now if he drops out of the top 3 as he's just as good in the hills. |

Good showing from Bettini there - pity Gavazzi didn't have anything in his legs to finish things off. |

hmm 15 sec down to 6th place, hope Eltink and Hoogerland can make it! But in other hands it´s just 6 sec up to Paulinho. Looking forward to the important last stage of this race. |
