12 three man teams are here to take on the only pure individual time trial on the Continental tour. The names of a number of riders will be familiar as they have ridden in plenty of the stage races that involve Time Trials.
Ignatiev, of course, is the favourite. But he has been beaten against the clock once this year by 100% Me brit Stannard who has home advantage here. Pendletons two brits Wiggins and Millar should fancy their chances of high placings also and watch out for Elizen (Highroad) who rode well in the recent Tour of Belgium.
Ikea's pair Larsson and Taaramae have been favouring more mountainous terrian - but both are world class TTers and are interesting wild cards here.

Don't count out Bbox before the race is done. Hopefully, I'll manage an acceptable result.

Stannard has been a bit hit and miss, crucial that here is a hit rather than a miss. On paper he is the best British option, and that should place him well.

Personally, I think it'll be between Stannard and Ignatiev for the win. 2 seconds in it. |

Yeah, I'm glad I won the event, much rather me than Ikea, but as Smowz said, the no-longer-present manager scores more points than me. It wouldn't be quite so naff if he was still around/taking an active part in the game, because then he could wind me up (on purpose). |

I'd take the prestige of the win any day.
The manager is not my favourite person either - mainly because he wasn't interested in having Lovkvist and Alcaron swap places in the close season. Swedish team not interested in one of the best Swedish riders in the game, bah! |
