My first ever start of one of these... I think?
Anywho, I've found a new manager I really like. Someone who ain't afraid of any backlash.
Monsieur Heulot:
Having retired as a rider in 2002, Heulot worked briefly in a PR role for his former Française des Jeux team-mate Mauro Gianetti’s Saunier Duval team. That association ended badly with Saunier Duval rider Riccardo Riccò’s positive test for CERA at the 2008 Tour. “Doping is so ingrained in certain managers, like Gianetti, that they can't conceive of cycling any other way," Heulot said at the time. “With people like Gianetti, we're heading straight for an impasse […]When people ask me if there's a risk of organized doping at Saunier Duval, I say 'yes' because I believe it, I feel it.”
You give it to 'em Heulot.

Heulot also mentioned Kim Andersen (Team Lux).
No wonder - the guy was tested positive three times |

Rabobank had their team presentation today.
Rabobank will keep sponsoring the team at list till 2016 (previously 2012).
The budget will be 15 million a year for the teams + another 10 million for cycling in the Netherlands in general.
Also, they have presented a new jersey, on the right, the new jersey, on the left, the old one

It's nice but the 2010 one is better. |

Looks like they've been unduly influenced by the Sky jersey with the Rabobank bit on the front. Poor. |

Molteni jersey, anyone ?
Rabo have a little more white, but that's about it.
Heulot has been picking at Gianetti quite often in the past. If I were him, I'd hope the Caen's doping scandal involving pros doesn't involve any of my riders.

How can you get a tumour in your knee cap ? Unless it's the bone marrow that's injured, but there can't be too much of it in a knee cap...
That's beyond my understanding of medicine (I don't doubt it's true, it just sounds odd). |

UCI says that they will take the Contador case to CAS if the judgement by the spanish federation doesn't meet their expectations.

This is definitely not the second biggest "if" I've ever seen (although we could also on debate on UCI's will to have and protect some heroes, Contador being one of them). |

Doesn't take alot of bone marrow to get cancer. Theoretically ity spreads from one tumor cell. And that's the problem with cancer, it keeps growing.
Also, nice that rabo keeps involved in sports like this, think it;s really awesome. They also want to spend as much on 'normal' sports as on sports for handicapped people, which is quite nice I think. |

Kreuziger says he'll target the Giro next year. Should be good to see him come up against Nibali - I'm just a bit dissapointed that Basso won't be there to give him a good whupping. |

Kreuziger also says he can learn a lot from Vinokurov. He surely will be one of the top favourites for the Giro then

Geox (sponsor) might pull its sponsorship. They were promised ProTeam status and isn't satisfied with ProCont.

Stupid, considering when they came in, it was being based on Top 17 teams, and Footon were nowhere near that
