Hi everyone, just wondering if anyone has an idea on how to fix this error. When playing the latest pcm daily DB with the second to last pcm patch, if I am playing a 3D race the game will most of the time crash with around about 75-85% of the stage complete. As you can imagine it is rather frustrating when that happens, so I am limited to doing the detailed simulation which just isn't the same unfortunately! The current season is 2012, but the error has been occurring with increasing frequency from about mid 2010.
Thanks |

This is probably because your graphics are too high. You can lower them in the options menu. It crashes because you run out of RAM or something like this on your computer at that time, and PCM cna't handle that.
Has your disk space on your computer become very small around the time you noticed this problem. I find that the less space the worse PCM works, and if no space at all my autorun doesn't even pop up. |

Valverde is most likely correct. I would note though that if you are getting a blue screen of death (which I used to get in the same situation with 08), it is probably a driver issue. |

I have 6gb ram and ati radeon 5970 and have about 2tb free space - so graphics etc shouldn't be a problem unless pcm is the most demanding game ever lol
I'll give it a go turning it down though I guess! |

It says that there's a 1.8 GB RAM limit on the game, meaning that it doesn't care that you have 6 GB RAM. If it uses more than 1.8 GB, it will crash.
Therefore, you have to lower the graphic settings to avoid high RAM usage = crashes. |
