Is my savegame corrupted?

Hi
have tried to use Hannes & the advanced editor on this save game (attached) but for some reason it won't let me i keep getting error messages.
Can someone who is more familar with these editors try my savegame and see if it's corrupted or something or whether i'm just being silly with the editor

You have to upload the save game 
Make sure that there are no spaces or weird characters in the file name. |

No I haven't. Is there an idiot's guide anywhere on what I need to download to get the editor to work? Or indeed how to work the editor itself?

Still can't get it to work. is there a step-by-step guide anywhere on how to use the editor (what to put in what folder, how to save the changes etc.) would be really useful.

Did you try my editor? It should be idiot-proof once the .NET framework is installed. It can be downloaded in the pcm 2010 download section. |

everytime i try to edit the DB I get an error popup before the CDB is unloaded saying "Invalid character in the given encoding. Line 1696649, position 22. That mean anything to anyone?
In the Advanced editor, you put your DB in the database folder, select it in the editor, and then what do you put in the other textbox - same name as the database?
Thanks Lachi I tried that but get the same error as the other editor??

You decide - it's a name for the work-folder. Just make sure that there are no spaces or weird characters in it.
Based on your two other reports, it sounds like you still haven't installed the framework. Can you try 3.5 instead?

It's installed and still won't load...
Could someone try to make two changes to my savegame for me? If possible, can the game speed be reduced mid-career? I started this one on 0.4 but I suspect it's a bit too quick already after 1 season. So if that's possible could someone change it to 0.3.
The other thing is, as a result of 0.4 and having 7 potential, Egor Silin from Katusha has turned into a complete animal after just 1 season, and is the 2nd best climber in the game behind Schleck and already ahead of Contador! So if someone could handbrake him back down to 73MO and 73 RES or something, just so it takes him a while to get to the top cos it's very unrealistic as a neopro to suddenly launch into the sport like that.
