How Can I Change The name of the teams in the db??because when i change the db don´t let me to put in!!
Example:I Have the db of 1996 pack and i want to change some teams like carrera for mercatone!Well i can´t |

Of course you can, it is just a matter of which editor you are using. You might try mine, you can find all editors in the download section (you find the link in the box at the left) |

hi to you all
im a new player on pcm 2010
had all previous games but not worked on my pc
finally pcm 2010 is working
my problem is about contracts renewal
players want to sign but when i negociate and even give them what they want they are annoyed and say the contract is not worthy.
I am currently first on all rankings and all my players' moral are on the moon
but still they sign with other teams and move away
please guys help me
its really embarassing losing your best men despite giving him what he wants |

You should contact your best riders before june to make sure they accept the offer. The earlier you contact them, the higher the chance that they will accept the offer.
If you need help editing your save to keep your riders:
I never edited the precontracts so I cannot help you there. Either load an earlier save and prolong the contract using an editor (DYN_contract_cyclist) or re-edit them back into your team at the end of the season (DYN_contract_cyclist and DYN_cyclist) |

the thing is that on the first year of the career mode i realised that they refused my contract because no salary is offered to them.Its only in december or january of the second year that i had the option of salary valid.
then i managed to keep Andreas Kloden but all my other stars like Leipheimer,Zubeldia,Popovych ,Armstrong amongst others had already left.so how can i contact them in June .they will refuse the contract and sign away again!
the pcm game is a very intersting one and i love the game but its very complicated (not the game play but the different options)and not the best in terms of user firendly!
Yesterday i had to start all over again.well what is the D_Y_N contract and how do i access it. |

If you started all over, then you might not need to access the tables (DYN_contract_cyclist and DYN_cyclist.
In the game, you can look at your riders and sort the table by contract duration (the column with the year). Then contact all riders who will leave your team in 2010 by right clicking on their name. (There should be an option to contact them. Else click on the name and go to the contract page and click the contact button at the bottom of that screen.)
Now you should be able to just accept their proposals for the next contract. If that does not work, ask again. |

There are cases where even though you offer them the money they want, they say that they want to wait until July to see if they would get better offers from other teams.
If this happens, there is not much you can do other than editing the database, just wait and hope for the best.
If offense is the best defence, does it mean that defence is the worst defence?

I play with the pcmdaily patch 1.0.4.1, and I want to know if the variants for GT's or WC for exemple, change each year automatically or we have to make something at the end of each season to have variants races for the next year. Thks |

Hi I have a question,
In my career I have 29 riders at the moment and have signed 1 more rider Bennati and 3 young riders from the scouting system. At what point do the young riders join the team since presumably I will have to make room for them or else they will not join ?

Young riders can be signed as trainees, meaning that they will join in August. They can also be signed as regular riders and will join the team at the end of the season. |

well friends...
the same problem over again
wen i start the negiciations by clicking on renew i get a msg like this...
your max wage bill is 700000 etc
and it put the maximun salary of the player i want to sign or renew as $0
then the player says the contract is an offense ans so on....
and my finances is a credit aaround $ 7 134 000 so y im not allowed to sign them
eventually after july they had all signed with other teams again
i dnt wish to start over again
and even wen i edit the dsatabase they are not put back in my team...
and laichi can you plz send me all the patches that are there for pcm 2010
if you need any contacts address or number you tell me

It works just fine.
After clicking it, wait for it to blink. When it does, you are able to attack for a longer period of time. |

One more thing i just checked the patch version that my game offers
its the patch from 1.0.0.0 to 1.0.2.2
the OTHER PROBLEM is that this patch is supposed to be run but wen i run it it says error and my PCM GAME DOES NOT OPEN!!!
meaning i have to install the whole game again but all i do is copy the patch from my CD and paste in PCM in program files |

Maybe you need a fresh start. First uninstall the game, then install like this:
1. game
2. Patch, either
2.a patch 1.0.4.1 (if you only play single player career)
2.b patch 1.0.4.2 (if you play multi player also)
3. DB
About your contract problem:
The game allows a max. wage bill of 700000 even if you are billionaire (which is very stupid but cannot be changed). If the sum of all contracts are higher, then the only thing you can do is use an editor to lower the contracts. How you can do it has been discussed before as you are not the first one hitting the 700000$ wall.
As said before I do not know exactly how to edit the negotiations so that it has no impact on the game. But at the end of the season you could edit them back into your team by changing the fkIdTeam in the tables DYN_cyclist and DYN_contract_cyclist. Of course this would have a strong impact on the career as the other teams will not be able to contract another good rider. (how to edit them should be explained in this forum as well)
I just have one small question. If you do not want to start all over, why didn't you try it with one rider instead of losing all your good riders before asking again?
If you have trouble editing riders back into your team or changing the contracts, feel free to ask again. |
