Well, I´m playing a History Mode with Team Saxo Bank, sponsor´s objective is to win the Volta.So, in the last stage I´m 5 seconds down, so I try to win the two intermediate sprints. I win it, but there´s a problem, when finish the stage, that seconds that make me win the Volta aren´t included in the time and I´m still five seconds down. Is there any solution? Editing the database?

Editing the database is possible but you would have to separately change the race result, sponsor goal and Pro tour points.

Why do you care about the sponsor goals anyway? They don't matter much.
The answer of mb2612 is incomplete:
You can edit the "race result" but it will not make your rider or your team get the achievments.
You can edit the sponsor goals but it really does not matter because all it would do is show a green tick.
Finally, the superprestige points are more important than the pro tour points, adding the pro tour points is quite useless.
Here a list of all things you could edit:
- More Pro Tour points (complicated)
- More Superprestige points (complicated)
- More Prize money (complicated)
- Modify final stage standings (very complicated)
- Modify overall standings (very complicated)
- Tick sponsor goal (very easy)
- Add Volta victory to rider achievment (easy)
- Add Volta victory to team achievment

The money don´t mind to me. I have too much so... But I want, if it´s possible to edit the tick sponsor goal, the Volta victory to the rider and the Volta victory to the team. If you know how to modify the overall standings, it will be very good too.

If you never edited the DB then you will not be able to do it unless somebody writes a step-by-step guide for you and I doubt anybody is willing to write such a guide.
I tell you the tables you have to edit, for a start:
The sponsor goals are in DYN_objectif.
The victory would be in DYN_palmares.
The overall standings would be in DYN_classification_race.
All tables have references to other tables through a 'foreign key' (the columns named like fk....) Just look up the number in the similar called column in the similar named table to find what the number stands for. (Example: In the table DYN_objectif you find a column fkIDrace which refers to the column IDrace in the table STA_race) |

I have opened my history mode with your editor. When it is extracting the columns, the editor said me: -An error has ocurred- Invalid character in given encoding. Line 700505, position 33.
An after that: -An error has ocurred-
Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
What happens?

Your save is based on a broken DB. No editor can open it except the Hannes Converter of 2009. You could try that editor but beware that editor is known to break your save. So make a backup of your save and store it in a safe place to prevent losing it all. |
