But see it positive. Everybody who doesn`t like these hard variants can make 2 variants with these stages
4-5 MTF for a variant. Then add some more flat stages out of other variants and maybe another ITT and you have 2
That`s probably how I will do it.
With flat stages it`s less important to have new ones every year than mountain stages in my opinion.

Once again, I'm not agree with your choices. 9 mountain stages and 9 top finishes, it's a mistake for me. Your spanish stages are very classic : Veleta, Angliru and Covadonga are already in three other variant routes. Moreover, your Pyrenees are totally irrealistic because they are on the french side.

He says that he thinks he uses too much French mountains in his Giro and Vuelta variants. Which I also agree. I don't like GTs with more than 5/6 mountain top finishes.
I like terrible stages, and in Vuelta there are many mountain top finishes (But they are too much) in reality.
I like french mountains because I know them because I live in France. French Pyrenees are really better than Spanish Pyrenees (Pla de Beret sucks), with for exemple the Tourmalet, Plateau de Beille, Portet d'Aspet, Aubisque, Hautacam. My Giro goes in France because I love Alpe d'Huez and passes like Izoard, Galibier, Iseran are good.
In spanish mountain, the best is Asturies and Sierra Nevada with great climbs.
